Earlier while talking about Kartik and his dance, Deepika had told a daily, "I saw him on Instagram or something and that i ’m like ‘wow he’s endearing’ and that i kept watching and I kept watching. and that i started observing him and something about him I find so endearing, I find him extremely hardworking. he's not apologetic about the fact… and this is often all my understanding. I even have not met him too repeatedly , so I don’t know as an outsider my understanding is that he’s extremely focused, he’s extremely driven. And he's not apologetic about it. He will do whatever it takes to achieve success . He will do whatever it takes to be at the highest , honest and he's not apologetic about it. and that i love that about him. That’s how I started following him and seeing his work. Then I saw the 'Dheeme Dheeme' challenge, and that i said ‘what is that this step?’ I kept watching it and that i kept watching it. And to save lots of my life i used to be unable to try to to that step. Of course, i attempted it reception then I messaged him are you able to teach me the step."
