Taking to her official Twitter account, Sonam said that she is going to get criticised regardless of what, so she has decided to try to to whatever she wants. "I’ve realised in trolliverse I’m damned I do and damned if I don’t. So I’ll just do as I please," she tweeted.

It looks like Sonam was responding to the trolls who targetted her for pledging to contribute to the Maharashtra chief minister’s relief fund. Sonam was also slammed for not contributing to the Prime Minister’s Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations (PM CARES) fund.

He’d hate to mention this but he's 63, my mother is 63 also . We all stick with Anand’s grandmother who is additionally around 80 years old. There was nobody actually in my husband’s house just just in case something happened to be there and lookout of everything. So Anand and that i did the responsible thing to fly back albeit we were so scared to fly."
