Priyanka Chopra reveals father banned her from wearing tight clothes after boys from school followed her

"We had a continuing clash of egos," said Priyanka Chopra while talking about her relationship father Ashok Chopra

Priyanka Chopra, who had recently stated that she finds similarities between her husband Nick Jonas and father Ashok Chopra, went on record to mention that she had constant ego clashes together with her father. She recollected an event when he banned her from wearing tight clothes since boys from school followed her.

Priyanka went on to inform Tatler magazine that not only did her previously progressive father put a ban on her tight clothes but also put bars on their windows after the incident. “I’d left as a 12-year-old flat-chested, curly-haired kid and that i came back as a 16-year-old almost-woman. i feel my dad was really surprised by that. He didn’t know what to try to to with me for the primary few weeks,” she said.

The actress went on to reveal that she was fascinated by schooling in US. “I was fascinated by the high schools in America, where that they had lockers and no uniforms, and girls were wearing make-up and shaving their legs and having their eyebrows wiped out 8th grade,” stated Priyanka.

However, calling her father her ally , Priyanka remembered what he had told her. “No matter what you are doing , good, bad, or ugly, you'll come and tell me. i will be able to assist you fix it. I won’t judge you, i will be able to be always be in your corner. I’ll always get on your team,” he had quoted.

Priyanka is currently under home quarantine in l. a. with Nick. The couple had recently announced that they need donated to varied organizations in their fight against coronavirus, one among them being PM Cares Fund, launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
