The Pati Patni Aur Woh actress recently sparked the talk on nepotism again and said that star kids have a plus as they have easier access to people from the industry. She also opened about her biggest competition in Bollywood.

Talking about the talk around nepotism, Ananya said, "I still agree that we've a plus which we get to satisfy people. we've easier access to people from the industry as we've grown up around them. But now that I've got that chance, it's unfair on behalf of me to waste it. i might wish to form my father proud."

Ananya, daughter of Chunky Pandey further added, "There are numerous samples of such talented folks that haven't come from the film background like Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma then there are actors like Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt who have come from film families and done so well. So, it all comes right right down to the audience."

The Student Of The Year 2 star also recalled her first audition, and therefore the way she got rejected. "I remember when Aladdin had come to India, there are a bunch of people who auditioned. We had to record a video, which I did on my phone. I had worn this red outfit and had to read the dialogues for Jasmine. The scene went very well , on the opposite hand they also asked us to sing which i can not sing to even save my life. So i actually got rejected," she said. Further confessing her biggest competition, she shared, "Janhvi Kapoor is my biggest competition within the film industry ."
