Amazon Prime Video's latest original Paatal Lok produced by Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma proved to be the breakout show of the year and earned praise from celebrities, critics also as fans. Though it's too early to comment a few second seasons, the manufacturers would like to take viewers back to the darkly twisted universe again.

Speaking about the second season for the series, led by Jaideep Ahlawat’s seasoned Delhi cop, Anushka said, during a recent interview, "You need to wait and watch to understand more about season two. I don’t want to divulge an excessive amount of but let’s just say it’s quite possible. It’s too early to speak about it but yes if Amazon is willing to try to to it, definitely there'll be a second season."

She further added, "We have always stayed faithful stories that we would like to inform and that we will still do this. We hope for similar appreciation within the future also ." Anushka produced the show together with her brother Karnesh via their banner fresh start Films.

She said, "Sudip’s first film as a writer was NH10. So we return an extended way and he’s sort of a brother to me. i think in everything he writes because he's such a cheap writer. he's somebody who will tell you the foremost complicated things most easily and entertainingly and that I think that's his greatest strength as a writer."
