Bolly Couples: Anushka Sharma, Virat Kohli pledge to assist those suffering from Bihar and Assam floods

Anushka Sharma and cricketer husband Virat Kohli have donated an undisclosed amount to 3 organizations working for the relief and rehabilitation add Bihar and Assam where thousands of families are suffering from the recent floods.

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have donated for the explanation for Assam and Bihar floods.

Actor Anushka Sharma and cricketer husband Virat Kohli have made donations towards relief add Assam and Bihar where devastating floods have wreaked havoc over the past few days.

The two shared a note regarding an equivalent on their respective Instagram accounts. It read, “While our country is within the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, people in Assam and Bihar also are suffering thanks to the devastating floods that have affected numerous lives and livelihood. While we still pray for the people in Assam & Bihar, Virat, and that I have also pledged to assist those in need by supporting these three organizations that are doing credible add flood relief & welfare. The couple has donated an undisclosed amount to 3 organizations: Rapid Response, Action Aid, and Goonj. They also shared the links of the three organizations working for the welfare of these affected within the recent floods.

Earlier in the week, actor Priyanka Chopra and singer husband Nick Jonas also donated for the explanation for flood relief and rehabilitation add Bihar and Assam. She wrote, “The monsoon in India has caused major devastation in many parts of the country. within the state of Bihar, which is where I used to be born, continuous heavy rains have caused major flooding. very similar to Assam, many people are affected and lots of are displaced as their homes were washed away within the deluge. As they grapple with this devastation, they have all the assistance that we will provide. Nick and that I have already donated to a couple of organizations whose teams are engaged within the active relief and rehabilitation to add the state. Now it’s your turn #BiharFloods.”

Priyanka shared the links of a couple of organizations like Goonj and Zomato Feeding India to encourage her fans to imitate. She had shared an identical announcement while donating for Assam, of which she is an envoy.
