Actors Gossips: Gauri Khan to show author with a book on interior design, says ‘excited’ as she shares cover

Gauri Khan will turn the author with a book, which has been tentatively titled My Life in Design. The book is going to be published in 2021 and can have unseen pictures also like her design philosophy.

Interior designer Gauri Khan, wife of Shah Rukh Khan, is ready to show the author with a book tentatively titled My Life in Design. The book, which can be published by Penguin under the Ebury Press next year, will feature unseen pictures of her interior design projects, family, and residence. she is going to also mention her design philosophy and elegance.

Gauri took to Instagram to share the duvet of the book and said that she was ‘excited’ about it. “Excited about this book with @penguinindia . one among the simplest shoots I’ve done. Thanks, @avigowariker!” she wrote. She looked chic during a red jumpsuit.

In another Instagram post, Gauri was seen wearing a green sequined gown. Both photographs were taken by photographer Avinash Gowariker. Fitness trainer Deanne Pandey congratulated her and wrote, “Congratulations @gaurikhan welcome to the planet of authors/writers/books.”

Gauri said during a statement, “I am extremely pleased to figure with Penguin on this book. There are several experiences in my journey as a designer that I might wish to record for posterity. The book is going to be very visually appealing with exclusive pictures and knowledge that I feel could guide aspiring designers or those that are just generally curious about the art of design. The lockdown has given me time to figure on this book and that I are going to be extremely happy to ascertain it published soon.”

It was while redoing her bungalow, Mannat, that Gauri first discovered her interest in interior design. She professionally became an indoor designer in 2010 and a couple of years later founded Gauri Khan Designs. She has designed the homes of a number of the most important names in Bollywood and therefore the business world. Her clientele includes Ranbir Kapoor, Karan Johar, Jacqueline Fernandez and Alia Bhatt.
