After testing positive for Covid-19 earlier this month, Malaika Arora has now ‘overcome’ it. during a new Instagram post, she said that she was blessed that the method involved ‘minimum pain and discomfort’.

In her post, Malaika wrote, “‘Out and about’...M finally out of my room after numerous days, it seems like an outing in itself... I feel so blessed to possess overcome this virus with minimum pain and discomfort.”

Her sister, Amrita Arora, criticized those sharing it and wrote in her Instagram stories, “Was posting her results of any use to anyone ?????? She’s a responsible citizen who would’ve declared it anyway! What’s the perverse pleasure of creating it a discussion and guessing how and when she got it, some getting to the extent of claiming she deserves it with laughing emojis! Why why why!!”

Amrita also urged everyone to ‘stop this ridiculous naming and shaming’. Malaika tested positive for Covid-19 just each day after her boyfriend, Arjun Kapoor, revealed that he was diagnosed with the virus. She said in an Instagram post that she was asymptomatic and would be under home quarantine as per the recommendation of her doctors.
