Actors Gossips: Poonam Pandey molestation case: Husband Sam Bombay granted bail, asked to report back to Goa police headquarters 

Poonam Pandey had alleged that husband Sam Bombay molested and assaulted her

A day after Poonam Pandey filed for alleged molestation, assault and threat from husband Sam Bombay, he was granted conditional bail by Goa Police. She had filed a police complaint on Monday night claiming her husband assaulted her and threatened of dire consequences, 13 days after their wedding. The couple was on their honeymoon in Goa, consistent with reports.

Judicial magistrate first-class Shanoor Audi granted bail to Sam on Tuesday evening. He received the bail on surety of Rs 20,000. Sam Bombay has also been asked to report back to Canacona police headquarters for four days starting Wednesday, while also not interfering with witnesses.

Poonam Pandey and Sam Bombay were in Canacona village of South Goa for a movie shoot. The couple tied the knot on September 1 in an intimate ceremony and later shared photos from the function on their social media accounts which took the web by storm.


"Pandey filed a complaint late Monday night claiming her husband Sam Bombay had molested her, and threatened her with dire consequences after assaulting her. He was arrested," Inspector Tukaram Chavan of Canacona police headquarters said in an interview.

For the uninformed, Nasha actor Poonam Pandey got engaged to her longtime beau Sam Bombay in July. Her fiancé took to his Instagram page and shared a photograph where both are flaunting their engagement rings. He captioned the post stating, "We finally did it!". Poonam and Sam got working on July 23, 2020, as he shared the photo on an equivalent date. Sam is usually seen sharing Poonam's photos and also their romantic moments.

On Poonam's birthday celebrated on March 11, 2020. Sam had shared a cute selfie posing together with her and captioned it as "Happy birthday to the love of my life, my bestie, and a unprecedented girl. #ipoonampandey #fam #forever".

He shared another photo and wrote, "A kiss is bigger than a rose." Poonam may be a controversial queen and earlier she was within the news for releasing her sex tape together with her boyfriend. However, she deleted the post from her Instagram page.
