Calling the constant troll attacks on her husband and his family
'unfortunate', Urmila avered, "There may be a limit to where it should go..."
Actor Urmila Matondkar, who recently joined the Shiv Sena, on December 18,
spoke about how her husband Mohsin Akhtar Mir whom she married in 2016 and his
family has constantly been attacked by trolls.
In addition to the present, Urmila also spoke about how cyber miscreants
vandalized her Wikipedia page to vary her parents' names thereon.
Last year, Urmila's Wikipedia was attacked repeatedly to update it with
unverified claims stating the actress had converted to Islam post her marriage
Mohsin which she had changed her name to 'Mariyam Akhtar Mir' post the
marriage.

there's a limit to where it should go..."
Besides all this, during a conversation with Mojo Story, Urmila said, "They
(trolls) have even infiltrated my Wikipedia page and that they have gone and
put my mother's name as Rukhsana Ahmed and my father's name as Shivinder
Singh, two citizenries who must be living somewhere in India but i do not know
of. My father's name is Shrikant Matondkar and my mother's name is Sunita
Matondkar."
"To top it all, my husband isn't only a Muslim but a Kashmiri Muslim. We both
follow our religions in an equally staunch way. That gave them a much bigger
platform to troll me and constantly target him and his family. it had been
very unfortunate,” she added.
During her conversation with the web portal, Urmila said that she isn't
thick-skinned. He said, "I do not have a skin but i feel sensitivity is one
among the strongest points of a lady. having the ability to possess that
compassion, that empathy which sensitivity is what makes me a lady ."
