Actors Gossips: "As an actor, I lost a year" Hina Khan reflects on lost opportunities in 2020



Hina Khan also spoke about shooting amid the coronavirus pandemic and the way scary it's hearing about "actors and technicians testing positive".

Hina Khan had a movie release titled Hacked and an internet show named Damaged 2 in 2020 which were shot in pre-COVID times, however, the 'Bigg Boss 14' challenger says that "I am sad that I didn’t shoot all of last year. As an actor, I lost a year."

In an interview with Hindustan Times, Hina said that albeit she participated in Salman Khan's reality show and Naagin 4, it had been "stressful". 

"I believe that I lost out on many opportunities, with regards to meeting good people, social gatherings, and network. Not meeting people, as we did earlier, makes tons of difference. You don’t know who picks you up that project supported your reference to them. I lost out on tons of learning experiences as I didn’t work on new projects. I don’t have any project lined up in 2021 so far. Yet, I consider myself one among the lucky ones as I had multiple projects release this year," she said.

She further spoke about shooting amid the pandemic and said that hearing about "actors and technicians testing positive, even ones shooting out of Mumbai. So, performing on a group a day and meeting numerous people is risky also ." 


She further added, "I am stepping out and dealing but the virus is usually on my mind. I performed at an awards event recently and that I was so nervous and petrified, with dancers picking me and dancing during a group. I stayed far away from my parents for a few days as there's tons of fear." 


Hina said she is happy about the vaccine being "out there" but knows it'd be sometime before "we get it". 

She said, "We will need to see how effective it's, what are the side effects, how long does it give us immunity and the way will the authorities reach bent the population of our country. It won’t be easy. India has got to exerting to be able to reach all because a vaccine isn’t the necessity of just our country but the entire world."
