India has been one of the greatest victors with regard to worldwide excellence events. Three Indian ladies have won the Miss Universe crown while six have been delegated, to Miss World. A video shared on Instagram shows exactly the way that Indian delights have governed the Miss Universe exhibition during the 90s and well into the mid-2000s too. The video starts with two emcees discussing how India had given nine Miss Universe top 10 finalists over the most recent 10 years. This was trailed by minutes from various events, starting from 1990, as Indian wonders respond in dismay on making it into the finals.

The video start with Suzanne Sablok (top 10) in 1990, Madhu Sapre (top 10) in 1992, Namrata Shirodkar (top 6) in 1993, Sushmita Sen (victor) in 1994, Manpreet Brar (first Runner-Up) in 1994, Sandhya Chib (top 10) in 1996, Nafisa Joseph (top 10) in 1997, Lymaraina D'Souza (top 10) in 1998, Gul Panag (top 10) in 1999, Lara Dutta (champ) in 2000, Celina Jaitley (fourth Runner-Up) in 2001, Neha Dhupia (top 10) in 2002, and Tanushree Dutta (top 10) in 2004.

While the video closes there, India gave the world more Miss Universe finalists and, surprisingly, a victor. Neha Kapur came in the top 20 out of 2006 and Puja Gupta came to top 10. In 2020, Adeline Castelino was the third-second place and in 2021, Harnaaz Sandhu turned into the third Indian lady to be delegated, Miss Universe.

A large number of these glamorous ladies proceeded to join Bollywood. These incorporate Sushmita Sen, Lara Dutta, Namrata Shirodkar, Gul Panag, Tanushree Dutta, Celina Jaitley, and Neha Dhupia. Sushmita is seen on Disney+ Hotstar hit Aarya, and Lara Dutta keeps on working in movies and web series like Hundred and Kaun Banegi Shikhrarawati. Namrata featured in films like Pukar and Vastav and is presently hitched to Mahesh Babu. Celina Jaitley lives with her family abroad, Gul Panag is into legislative issues now and Neha Dhupia was most recently seen in A Thursday as a cop. Tanushree Dutta began the Indian Me Too development in 2018 after she blamed Nana Patekar for mischief on a film's set.
