Samantha Ruth Prabhu, a movie star, has been to Mumbai to promote her forthcoming movie Shaakuntalam. Samantha told ANI that there is no longer a wall separating North and South films since the divide has been eroding with time.

Shaakuntalam is based on the well-known Kalidasa play Shakuntala. Shakuntala was the mother of the emperor Bharata and the wife of King Dushyant. Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada versions of the pan-Indian mythical romantic drama will be available.
