Bhamakalapam(2022) became a surprising success from AHA, a movie that served
as a decent comeback for Priyamani. these days its sequel has been released.
let’s see whether or not this film recreated the magic or not as its
predecessor.
Story:
Anupama( Priyamani) and her husband, Mohan (Pradeep Rudra) pass to a brand new
flat inside the hope of a new life. Anupama tries not to intervene in
different people’s paintings as it causes her enough problems within the first
part however destiny has other plans for this element. Anupama’s culinary
capabilities push her to have her very own eating place and take part in a big
cooking opposition. but, the trophy attached to it holds a conspiracy that
adjustments Anupama’s life, leaving her with not nothing but a preference for
a heist that she should pull off at any fee.
Writing and direction:
The attraction and gimmicks that labored in the first component were missing
right here really, this is also due to the repetitive experience the narration
gives, and the important thing twists feel dated.
The idea of making plans for a heist around a trophy with a regular housewife
doing extremely good things would possibly sound cool on paper however on
screen, the interpretation got lost in vulnerable dialogues, weaker
performances, and weakest narration.
Abhimanyu Tadimeti who striked properly in the predecessor couldn’t repeat the
identical feat in this sequel. There are comedy scenes that work right here
and there and even a few thrills sense decent however for the larger element,
his writing appeared very handy at times rather than convincing. Even
direction lacked awareness as he failed to extract excellent performances from
artists like Brahmaji etc. A few shots had problems with mild attention,
coming from platforms like AHA one expects higher manufacturing values and
higher shot compositions.
Technical Departments:
modifying by Viplav Nyshadam should’ve been better rhythmic, the waft of the
cuts feels jarred at times. The tune via Prashant Vihari became k. The
cinematography by way of Deepak Yaragera became average, the lighting hit a
few lows in a few shots.
Performances:
Priyamani gave her best to make this film sail but at times even she appeared
clueless inside the court cases. Actress Sheerat Kapoor became wasted in a
terrible individual. Pradeep Rudra didn’t control to make his presence felt.
Saranya’s position ought to’ve been written better than an easy bystander.
Positives:
1) Priyamani’s performances
2) some thrills and little laughs
Negatives:
1) Tedious screenplay
2) Unimpressive twists
Bottomline: Cheesy and Cliched
rating: 2/5
