Gossip: Wamiqa Gabbi is joining Rishab Shetty in the upcoming movie Jai Hanuman.

2026 is turning out to be a great year for Wamiqa Gabbi. She began the year with the movie Bhooth Bangla, where she acted alongside Akshay Kumar.She also appeared in Pati, Patni Aur Woh Do, which was a hit.

Recently, she has received positive reviews for her role as Chandra in the Tamil film DC. Her career is moving forward quickly now, as she has reportedly been cast in a major role in Jai Hanuman, a new pan-India mythological film directed by Prasanth Varma.

In this film, Rishab Shetty will play Lord Hanuman. Details about Wamiqa’s character are not yet revealed. Jai Hanuman is a sequel to the 2024 film Hanu-Man, which starred Teja Sajja. The new movie will include some new actors, and Wamiqa is one of them.

Jai Hanuman is being produced by Mythri Movie Makers and is part of Prasanth Varma’s Cinematic Universe. The filming of Jai Hanuman started in March, and it is scheduled for a theatrical release in the second half of 2027.
