Sana told the days of India, "We first met in 2017 in Mecca. it had been a quick meeting on the day i used to be returning to India. Anas was introduced to me as an Islamic scholar. i might wish to clarify that he's an Alim and not a Mufti. I contacted him towards the top of 2018, as I had some questions on religion. Then, after quite a year, we reconnected in 2020. i used to be always inclined towards learning more about Islam."

Talking about her decision of marrying Anas, Sana went on to mention, "Getting married to Anas wasn’t an overnight decision. I even have prayed for years for a person like him in my life. What I liked best about him is that he's shareef and unn mein haya hai. he's not judgmental. He had said this to me, ‘Agar koi achhi cheez gutter mein gir gayi hai toh uske upar aap 10 baalti bhi paani daal do, woh saaf nahi hoti hai. Ranveer had to conclude the chat after hearing Deepika's comment. “OK bye bye-bye. Bhabhi daant rahi hain, kehrai hai main zoom call karrai hu, chilla mat (Your sister-in-law is scolding me. She is saying i'm on a Zoom chat, don’t speak so loud),” he told Ayushmann before signing off.
