AP Govt Okays Rangasthalam Special Shows

It has become a norm for the makers of all the star heroes' movies to apply for special permission to organize extra shows during the festival season and long holidays. Joining suit is Ram Charan's keenly awaited period action entertainer, Rangasthalam.

Rangasthalam's producers have written a letter to the Andhra Pradesh State Special Secretary, seeking permission to organize extra shows across the 13 AP districts between 5 am to 10 am, starting from March 30th to April 5th. In the letter, the producers said that the extra shows will prevent black ticketing and volatile law and order situations due to huge crowd turnouts during the film's screenings. The latest update is that the AP government has obliged their request and has sanctioned the required permission.

Nearly 100 crores are riding on Rangasthalam, and these extra shows will have a huge impact on the film's box-office collections. If the Sukumar directorial manages to get a hit talk from early shows, the sky will be the limit for the collections thanks to these additional shows and the first week's revenues will be quite huge. On the other hand, the status of extra shows in Telangana is yet to be known.
