The Most Awaited Upcoming Bollywood Releases of 2018!


As we are in the last quarter of the year and we have seen some of the best films released this year in the previous quarters. Many of these films created new milestones in the film industry and some of these impressed us aesthetically. Here we take a look at some the most anticipating films of 2018!

Baazaar


Baazaar is an upcoming business crime drama film directed by Gauravv K. Chawla, written by Nikkhil Advani, Aseem Arora, and Parveez Sheikh. Starring Saif Ali Khan, debutant Rohan Mehra, Chitrangada Singh, and Radhika Apte. The film is set in the backdrop of money, power, and business, largely based on the Stock market. The film is scheduled to release on 26 October 2018

Thugs of Hindostan


Thugs of Hindostan stars Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh. The film has been produced by Yash Raj Films and directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya. The film is slated to release on 8th November which is Diwali weekend and a bumper opening is being expected from the film.

2.0


2.0 is another most awaited film of this year. Ever since the announcement of the film, it has created an immense buzz in the industry and now after such a long hiatus, the film is all set to hit the theatres on 29th November 2018. 2.0 has Superstar Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar in it along with Amy Jackson. The film has been directed by Shankar and produced by Lyca Productions in an association of Karan Johar's Dharma Productions.

Kedarnath


Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan starrer Kedarnath is another film which is being awaited with bated breaths. Kedarnath will mark the debut of Sara Ali Khan, daughter of Saif Ali Khan. It is directed by Abhishek Kapoor and is slated to release on 30th November 2018.

Total Dhamaal


Director Indra Kumar is returning with his hit Dhamaal franchise. After smashing many Box-Office records with the previous installments Indra Kumar has made this new installment even bigger. Total Dhamaal is a multi-starrer film and it is expected to release on 7th December 2018

Zero


Zero is perhaps the most anticipated film of this year, which stars Shahrukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma in it. The film is being directed by Anand L. Rai and it is slated to release on 21 December 2018

Simmba


Simmba is a Bollywood remake of Telugu film Temper. Simmba stars Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan. It is being directed by Rohit Shetty. The film is slated to release on 28th December 2018

Though there are some other films which are also set to hit silver screens. These are some of the much-awaited films of the year. Let's see how many of these create wonders and set the Box-Office on fire!

John Abraham's 'Parmanu - The Story Of Pokhran' to now release on this date





John Abraham's 'Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran is set to release on May 4.

Directed by Abhishek Sharma, the film also features Diana Penty and Boman Irani and is produced by John's production house, JA Entertainment.

"Much in line with India's journey to becoming a nuclear power, our film's journey to its release has also had its own ups and downs. However, it is perhaps a befitting tribute to the true heroes of our nuclear program- our army and our scientists, that Parmanu is releasing in the same month as we are celebrate 20 years of Operation Shakti- India's nuclear test explosions in Pokhran in May 1998."We are extremely proud of the film and what it stands for and can't wait to take it to our audience on 4th May, 2018," JA Entertainment's spokesperson said in a statement.

The release date comes after the news of a fallout between John's JA Entertainment and co-producers KriArj Entertainment.

AP Govt Okays Rangasthalam Special Shows


It has become a norm for the makers of all the star heroes' movies to apply for special permission to organize extra shows during the festival season and long holidays. Joining suit is Ram Charan's keenly awaited period action entertainer, Rangasthalam.

Rangasthalam's producers have written a letter to the Andhra Pradesh State Special Secretary, seeking permission to organize extra shows across the 13 AP districts between 5 am to 10 am, starting from March 30th to April 5th. In the letter, the producers said that the extra shows will prevent black ticketing and volatile law and order situations due to huge crowd turnouts during the film's screenings. The latest update is that the AP government has obliged their request and has sanctioned the required permission.

Nearly 100 crores are riding on Rangasthalam, and these extra shows will have a huge impact on the film's box-office collections. If the Sukumar directorial manages to get a hit talk from early shows, the sky will be the limit for the collections thanks to these additional shows and the first week's revenues will be quite huge. On the other hand, the status of extra shows in Telangana is yet to be known.

Paltan's new poster is here with its release date


Ever since the veteran filmmaker has made the announcement for his next war drama 'Paltan', everyone is feeling curious to get a glimpse of the film or to have some information about the film. 

Now for all those who are eagerly waiting for the release of the film, here's a good news for you. The makers have finally announced the release date of the film. Also, a new poster of the film has been revealed, which also gives us an idea about the backdrop of the film. 

Earlier it was speculated that 'Paltan' is based on 1962 Sino-Indian war but on the contrary, the film revolves around the India - China military clashes that took places along the Sikkim border in 1967. 

'Paltan' has an ensemble cast of Sonu Sood, Arjun Rampal, Harshvardhan Rane, Luv Sinha, Siddhant Kapoor, Gurmeet Choudhary, Jackie Shroff, Esha Gupta, Monica Gill and Dipika Kakar. 

The film is produced by JP Films and presented by Zee Studios, and it will release on 07th September 2018.
