Ravi Teja In Sequel of Megastar's Film

Although there are nearly half a dozen young heroes from Mega family, a director surprisingly chose Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja to play the lead role in a sequel to Megastar Chiranjeevi's "Shankar Dada MBBS". The director is Kalyan Krishna of 'Soggade Chinni Nayana' fame and the film is "Nela Ticket".

Ravi Teja has recently announced the title of his new film as "Nela Ticket". Helmed by Kalyan Krishna, the film has completed the major part of its shooting already. Here is some exclusive info about this project.

The protagonist in "Nela Ticket" is a fake doctor. He acts as a doctor in order to win the love of a girl, who is a medical student. Doesn't this storyline sound vaguely similar to "Shankar Dada MBBS"?

Kalyan Krishna first narrated the subject of "Nela Ticket" to Ram Charan as he aspired to make it as "S/o Shankar Dada". Charan, however, wasn't pleased with the narration and he politely refused it. For some reasons, Kalyan didn't approach any other Mega family hero and went directly to Ravi Teja, and got his nod. In order to erase the similarities with Chiru's film, he changed the title to "Nela Ticket".

This is the backstory of how a sort of sequel to megastar's film went out of Mega compound and landed in Ravi Teja's lap.

The Ravi Teja starrer marks the Tollywood debut of Mumbai model, Malavika Sharma.
