It looks like there's no stopping Ram Charan's Rangasthalam. The film, which released yesterday and received immense praise from critics and fans, has already zoomed past the USD 1 million milestone in USA. This is Ram Charan's second 1 million dollar movie after Dhruva.
After a solid Thursday night premieres which helped the movie amass a whopping USD 706,612 from 165 locations, Rangasthalam collected over USD 510 from 151 locations until 10:15 pm on Friday, taking the cumulative total to USD 1,215K. The film may end up grossing over USD 600K on Friday. Rangasthalam has all the chances to break into the USD 2 million club in its full run.
Charan's previous best Dhruva had grossed USD 1.4M in its lifetime and Rangasthalam may surpass the figure either by Friday or early Saturday. Fans and trade circles are terming this as Ram Charan's resurgence. Sukumar too shall take a lion share in the laurels pouring in for Rangasthalam, produced by Mythri Movie Makers.
