Teaser Talk: 'Officer' Reports To Duty

Akkineni Nagarjuna has for the first time decided to grey out his hair for a commercial cinema and he's doing that for a Ram Gopal Varma film. This iconic duo of "Siva" is coming back with "Officer" now and here goes the teaser.

Before reporting to duty on silver screens, now Officer has reported to the duty of initiating publicity. If the teaser has anything to go by, Nagarjuna will be seen as a ruthless and rogue cop who has his own style in dealing with anti-society elements. At 58, Nagarjuna's terrific fitness levels are what we could witness in this character of a ruthless police inspector he plays. 

The story sounds interesting as Nagarjuna goes to Mumbai to probe the killing of a dangerous police officer named Narayan Pasari. As he reaches there as a SIT Chief, the people he encounters and the fears his young daughter get and the way he finds a solution them happens to be the story of this "Officer". 

For now, Varma's mark is visible all over the teaser when it comes to those different camera angles and style of conceiving shots. No doubt, an action thriller with impressive technical values is on the cards, but what is to be seen how Ramu excelled with emotional drama in this narrative. 

Produced by Varma's own Company, Officer is set for a late Summer release on May 25th.
