The much-hyped Akhilesh Yadav and KCR's meet is just okay as both the leaders boasted that the meet is in the interest of people of the nation and nothing to do with the politics. KCR maintained that he has been vouching for the Federal Front to bring qualitative change in national politics and to change the dynamics of the country which has over 7 decades of Independence.
KCR said he has been in touch with Akhilesh and has been talking to him over telephone and updating all the information about his meetings with Mamata Banerjee, Deve Gowda, Karunanidhi. KCR said the Federal Front is based on issues and is merely not a political front against the ruling.
Akhilesh too said more or less same what KCR had said. Both said they would work together to form a Federal Front to bring change in the political arena. Akhilesh raised the issue of results of by-poll in UP where BJP lost both the parliament seats of Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister.
Significantly, there seems to be change in KCR's thinking as he indicates Federal Front would have place for political parties the hat are in sync with their ideology hinting that even Congress could be part of it.
