Current News: Know All About KCRs Dream Project "Kaleshwaram"

At a time when construction of irrigation projects takes a decade, the Telangana government has completed ninety percent of Kaleshwaram project in just three and a half years of time. This is the largest lift irrigation project and is considered an engineering marvel. During its construction, Kaleshwaram has created many records and in another 48 hours, it is getting ready for inauguration.

For decades Andhra and Telangana regions have had water allocation issues. Telangana CM KCR took personal care about this project and he was behind it every minute from its inception. With an aim to provide water to 40 Lakh acres in Telangana, this project is redesigned by KCR himself. At the juncture where Godavari and Pranahitha rivers meet is Medigadda and at this spot, Kaleshwaram project is constructed. Here the water will be lifted in six phases and will be moved to Kondapochamma Sagar which is above 618 meters. Three barrages, 15 reservoirs, and 20 lifts will form Kaleshwaram and the cost estimated for the project is Rs 80,000 crore.

The length of Kaleshwaram gravity canal is 1531 kilometers while the length of tunnels is 203 kilometers and there are a total of 82 pumps. With the help of the project, every day two TMC of water can be lifted and it requires 4992.47 MegaWatts of electricity while for three TMC of water, it requires 7152 Megawatts of electricity. six 400 KV and 220KV substations and many other electric infrastructures were arranged for the power supply to lift the water.

The package eight of the pumping station is something very important here. It has a gigantic underground pumping station with 7 units, each having a capacity of 139 MWs. With this pump, water will be lifted to 111 meters. In the seven units, each pump capacity is 1.86 lakh horsepower. This pump house is situated between Nandi Medaram Bridge and Mid-Maneru reservoir.

From Medigadda, water will be pumped daily to Annaram, Sundilla, Sri Paada Yellampalli. With Kaleshwaram, Sriram Sagar project will get water and projects like Nizam Sagar and Singuru will also get water. The construction of barrages at Annaram, Sundilla are almost completed while the mid-Maneru which has the capacity to hold 25 TMC of water is also ready.

However, the Mallanna Sagar barrage that has the capacity of 50 TMC of water is yet to be complete. The construction of this barrage delayed due to land acquisitions and court orders.

The Telangana government has set up a photo gallery at the project site which shows various phases of the project construction. The officials claim that the people could reach in large number to witness this mega project.

Political News: Modis Rythu Bandhu Rs 4000 Per Acre

The fall of BJP in the 5 states Assembly elections have hit Narendra Modi and Amit Shah duo so hard. In order to tackle growing opposition within BJP and outside BJP, Modi and Shah are coming up with a strategy to get close to agrarian community which accounts for large population in the nation.

As part of the move, Modi is all set to follow KCR's Rythu Bandhu scheme, Farmers' Investment Support Scheme (FISS). Buzz is that a Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) would be announced very soon by Modi government. Rs 4000 per acre would be transferred directly to farmers ala KCR's Rythu Bandhu scheme in Telangana. The cash transfer would be made in two seasons. In addition to the Direct Benefit Transfer, zero percent Crop loan up to Rs 1 Lakh per farmer in two-phases could be availed.

It is learnt that this would cost a whopping Rs 2 Lakh Crore to the Centre for money transfer and another Rs 28,000 to Rs 30,000 Crore for interests towards zero percent-crop loans. Overall, this would cost Rs 2.3 Lakh Crore to public exchequer. Ahead of 2019 general elections, Modi's move to win the hearts of farmers to be ascertained and how the nation receives it.

Meanwhile, the Centre has called quickfire meetings at the PMO (Prime Minister's Office) as well as in NITI Aayog to finalise the announcement which is likely to be made within this week. In this process, officials of nodal ministries -agriculture, revenues, expenditure, chemical and fertilisers, food have been asked to meet informally for better coordination and thus to avoid any unwanted confusion, differences. On the other hand, Prime Minister Modi is going to meet farmer leaders to discuss the proposals.

Congress MLCs Meet KCR, Triggers Panic In Congress

Even as Congress is yet to overcome its recent defeat in Telangana elections, here comes another shocker for the party in the state. Two of its MLCs including its party whip is all set to cross over to ruling TRS. What's interesting is that the party whip and MLC Akula Laitha, who had tried to complain against defected MLCs to Chairman Swamy Goud, is now jumping into TRS.

Congress MLC and whip Akula Lalitha has met CM KCR at Pragathi Bhavan and congratulated him on his victory. It is buzzed that stage is all set for Akula Lalitha's entry into the Pink Party and muhurat is also fixed. However, when asked about her joining into TRS, she neither confirmed nor denied. She told media that she just came to Pragathi Bhavan to wish CM KCR.

Here is the twist in the tale. Just a day before she met KCR, Akula Lalitha along with Opposition leader of Telangana Legislative Council, Shabbir Ali and MLC Santosh Kumar had planned to meet Chairman Swamy Goud to complain against Congress MLC K Damodar Reddy who jumped into TRS.

However, Swamy Goud was on leave on Wednesday as his close relative passed away. With this, Congress legislative council team decided to meet Swamy Goud on Thursday and complain against Damodar Reddy. But Swamy Goud couldn't return even on Thursday as he was in Bengaluru. That's when Shabbir Ali, Akula Lalitha and Santosh had decided to meet him on Friday to complain against defected MLC Damodar Reddy.

But all of a sudden, Akula Lalitha and Santosh have met KCR separately on Thursday and decided to jump into TRS.

What happened behind?

Akula Lalitha happens to be the close relative of TRS leader, Deputy Chairman of Legislative Council Nethi Vidya Sagar. Vidya Sagar was the one who said to have held the talks for Lalitha's entry into TRS. Along with Vidya Sagar and government whip Palla Rajeswar Reddy, she met KCR. Lalitha had recently contested on Congress ticket in Armoor against Jeevan Reddy and lost in his hands. Her joining into TRS is now shocking Congress seniors.

Meanwhile, Congress MLC Santosh Kumar has also met KCR at Pragathi Bhavan along with Karimnagar Mayor Sardar Ravindar Singh, Corporation chairman Koleti Damodar and personally greeted KCR. As Santosh's MLC term is likely to end soon, he said to have got assurance from that he would be made MLC on TRS party.

TRS MLCs Bhupathi Reddy, Yadava Reddy, Konda Murali, Ramulu Nayak have recently campaigned for Congress in the state elections. TRS chief whip had complained against them to Chairman Swamy Goud and Swamy Goud has sent notices to them. Looks like, Congress MLCs are jumping into TRS to get elected as TRS MLCs.

Amidst speculations that 10 out of 12 Congress MLAs would jump into TRS soon, the meeting of two MLCs with KCR has triggered a panic among Congress senior leaders.

Telangana News: Telangana Cabinet: KCR Grabs Harish Seat?

With K.T. Rama Rao being sworn-in as the Working President of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), the path to the helm has been cleared by his father and Telangana CM K. Chandrasekhar Rao. These indications may definitely have an impact on KCR's Cabinet as it will have KTR's chosen candidates, say TRS sources.

According to inside reports, K. Chandrasekhar Rao's meetings on irrigation projects and Mission Bhagiratha, soon after his swearing-in, have happened without Harish Rao, who was Irrigation Minister of Telangana in KCR's former Cabinet. Harish Rao has been widely appreciated for his ardent work on Telangana's irrigation projects and has extensive knowledge of these projects. The meeting without Harish Rao has raised several eyebrows.

TRS sources say that KCR is keen on retaining the irrigation portfolio while the Cabinet may be chosen by KCR's son, KTR. Additionally, KCR's visit to Kaleswaram on Tuesday which was canceled due to bad weather also did not include Harish Rao. Inside reports indicate that there is growing unrest among Harish Rao's followers as he is being sidelined by KCR's family. While they are just watching the developments taking place in the state after elections, even Harish Rao seems to have stunned by these happenings.

With such a treatment of Harish Rao by KCR's family, his followers are already crying foul over their leader getting a raw deal despite being the one with a huge following. These developments may prove costly for the TRS if Harish Rao chooses to part ways with his uncle. Only time will tell the consequences of this tale!

Target KCR & Modi If You Can!: Bandla Ganesh

Bandla Ganesh, who has been maintaining low profile since the defeat of Mahakutami, gave an exclusive interview to a News Channel recently. He claims to have remained silent for 10 days respecting the people's mandate in favour of TRS.

Mojo TV Staff followed Bandla Ganesh by holding 7'o Clock Blade in their hands for the sake of publicity. When quizzed about it, The Congress Leader told: 'Such things really hurt Me. Are they trying to make their livelihood on Me? All the Topbrass Leaders including Modi, KCR, Jayalalithaa and Karunanidhi speak so many things to motive the party leaders and cadre. It's like they are provoking Me to commit suicide. Does they have the guts to behave in a similar manner with Modi & KCR?'.

#DongaDorikada hashtag on Social Media: 'I felt bad with the way I was trolled on social media. If I say I would slit say throat, How could they comment Donga Dorikada? Victory or Defeat is quite common. Even NTR, Chandrababu Naidu & KCR has tasted defeats. Though I had made many comments on TRS, None of its leaders issued a statement against Me even after the victory...That's their character! My Children got hurt with the negative campaign against Me. It has come to the stage that money has been earned on dead body. Why are they making it a big issue? Just because I am not so powerful. KCR told TRS will win 100-plus seats. Before 2014 Polls, He pledged to cut his head if he fails to make a Dalit, CM of Telangana. Modi asked to shoot him if he fails to weed out black money in the country within 50 days. Harish Rao told he would work in TDP Office if Chandrababu Naidu offers letter in favour of Telangana Statehood. Does these people have the courage to behave with KCR & Modi in a similar manner?'.

Wishes: Congratulations Anna: AP Minister Wishes KTR

A Tweet placed by AP Minister Bhuma Akhila Priya after the results of Telangana Assembly Polls 2018 were announced by Election Commission has gone viral. What is it all about?

Akhil Priya tagged KTR to convey greetings - 'Congratulations Anna on your historic win'. This post arrived when TDP Leaders and Nandamuri Camp were left devastated with the shocking result.

Interestingly, A Netizen only hoped to see Akhila Priya wish YS Jagan in a similar manner after 2019 General Elections.

Generally, Any other Minister in the cabinet of Chandrababu Naidu would refrain from tweeting in such a way to a TRS Minister. Akhila Priya might have reacted in that manner as she is an accidental politician. This First-Time MLA is yet to get used to the rule book of TDP. Did Akhila Priya wish to see the defeat of Mahakutami in Telangana? What would be the reaction of Chandrababu Naidu to the tweet of Tourism Minister? Wait & See!

T.Home Minister: Telangana Home Minister Is A Muslim

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao hinted ample prominence he is going to offer to Muslims by making Mahmood Ali sworn-in as Deputy CM of Telangana on Thursday. In fact, He is the only TRS Leader to be lucky enough to take part in the swearing-in ceremony along with KCR.

What portfolio did KCR offer to Mahmood Ali who handled Revenue & Minority Welfare in the last term? It's the crucial Home Ministry which was taken care by Nayini Narasimha Reddy in the first term of TRS Rule.

Nayini remained loyal to KCR for over a decade. That is why he was appointed as Telangana's First Home Minister. Whereas, TRS Supremo decided against offering Musheerabad ticket to Nayini's Nephew in the recently concluded polls. And now, KCR has sidelined even Nayini too.

Mahmood Ali's induction to TRS Cabinet as Deputy CM & Home Minister is a great move by TRS Leadership. In fact, KCR made both KTR and Harish Rao wait along with other MLAs for the cabinet expansion. That's a strategic move to counter the allegations of Family Rule & Monopoly. KCR scored a sixer with the first shot itself. We have to wait & see how the rest of the cabinet would shape up..!

Flash News: 5 Reasons which helped TRS secure majority

The wave in Telangana is clear. It is Telangana Rashtra Samithi's (TRS) Day today and its Chief K. Chandrasekhar Rao will become the CM of Telangana once again.

With Lagadapati's survey going down the drain, here are four main reasons:

Rythu Bandhu Scheme: The scheme which is aimed at providing liquidity to farmers to take care of their inputs ahead of the agricultural season. Disbursals for Rabi and Kharif were claimed to be credited on time to the beneficiaries. This has proved to be a huge vote gainer for the TRS.

Muslim votes: The votes of the Muslim community, which were earlier a vote bank of the Congress, across the state have been sealed by the TRS. One of the reasons could be because of AIMIM's support to the TRS. Excluding voters in Hyderabad who are loyal to AIMIM, the rest of the voters from the community seem to have chosen the TRS.

Telangana sentiment: Despite Telangana sentiment initially gaining steam, it faded during October. However, in November and December towards the end of the poll campaigns, the sentiment proved to be positive for the TRS. With massive maligning of TDP and Congress and raking up the anti-Andhra sentiment, this TRS gained hugely in the process.

Systematic campaigning and poll management: The planning and early declaration of candidates by TRS initially seemed like a hasty move. However, that helped the party plan its campaigns and roadshows much in advance. Additionally, huge spending and funding on the campaigns as well as successful poll management worked in favor of the TRS.

Welfare schemes: The welfare schemes such as pensions, sheep distribution scheme and several other schemes that worked for beneficiaries won TRS their votes. Meanwhile, Opposition's remarks on KCR not visiting Secretariat or neglecting Martyr's families and other reasons did not matter to these beneficiaries, unlike the urban population which thought of these as pressing issues.

Beware Of Fake Survey Arriving Soon: KCR

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao cautioned the people of Telangana not to fall in the trap set by Mahakutami for winning the upcoming Assembly Polls. He asked the public to be prepared to ignore the fake survey to be introduced by Congress within few days through a media house for projecting that TRS will concede defeat.

TRS Supremo reiterates TRS is going to retain power with a landslide victory. He alleged Mahakutami has been using money and media to confuse the voters ahead of the polling.

Although the majority of the Surveys predicted that TRS would form government again, A clear indication was given that the Ruling Party won't be winning 100-plus seats. TRS is most likely to retain power with a slight majority. Even if this prediction is true, KCR needn't have to worry as TRS have the support of MIM which could win 6-8 seats and Independents/Rebels will join the party which forms the Government.

KCR's Arch-Rival Steps Out Of TJS

Advocate Rachna Reddy shot to fame with the multiple cases she had filed against the Irrigation Projects taken up by the TRS Government. She was also the founder-member of Telangana Jana Samithi floated by Prof Kodandaram.

Rachna Reddy created a sensation Today by tendering her resignation to TJS and making shocking allegations. She accused Kodandaram of succumbing to Congress completely and not following social justice in the distribution of tickets. 'Why did Kodandaram float TJS? Why didn't he step out of Mahakutami when Congress refused to offer good number of seats? Does Kodandaram thinks he has become a King just by becoming Mahakutami Convenor? So much time was wasted by him for discussions in star hotels. Few Leaders have sold the tickets like vegetables,' she alleged.

Someone like Rachna Reddy quitting TJS and making shocking allegations against Mahakutami is a blessing in disguise for TRS. She even predicted that Kodandaram will end up losing for dancing to the tunes of Congress Party.

Marri Aditya Reddy (S/o Marri Shasidhar Reddy) also resigned to Telangana Jana Samithi on Sunday.

KCR Shouts At A Muslim, Video Goes Viral

Of late, there have been several instances by Opposition Leaders highlighting the fact that Telangana's caretaker CM K. Chandrasekhara Rao is an unapproachable man. The people of his own constituency, Gajwel, also have accused KCR's of being unavailable to them when he visits the constituency. An incident that took place in Kagazangar has become a testimony to labeling KCR as an unapproachable CM.

At a public meeting in Kagazangar, a Muslim youth questioned KCR on his government's promised of 12% reservation to Muslims in the state. Responding to the youth, an irked KCR said: "Baath karte. Baitho Khaamosh baitho...Wohi...12% hi bole...khaamosh baitho (I'm talking....just sit down.)"

WATCH VIDEO HERE:

When the youth continued his questioning, KCR got annoyed and said furiously: "Baitho na tumhare baap ko bolun kya baatein..(I will tell your father, sit down)." Additionally, KCR commented that "the Opposition parties are sending a drunk man to my meeting and asking him to question me." These remarks and sheer display of arrogance by KCR at a public meeting has not gone down well in political circles as well as public.

People who are listening to a leader expect to be noticed. But, this is not the way a CM or head of state has to respond to a person's angst, say political observers. "The more such behavioural traits of KCR are out in the public, the more unapproachable he becomes in the eyes of people," said a political analyst. It would be wise for KCR be patient even when people react negatively as it is the elections time and passions can run high and change opinions in a jiffy.

KCR Studied M Sc (Political Science) How & When?

As the election fever is gripping Telangana, Political Parties have been retrieving old videos to expose the true colors of Opponents. A video of KCR claiming to have studied M Sc (Masters in Science) in Political Science at the condolence meeting of Former Union Minister G Venkat Swamy went viral.

Actually, KCR has done Masters in Telugu Literature and that's something he proudly claimed a lot of times. Be it in his election affidavits or government records, He did mention about pursuing MA Telugu. So, When did he complete Masters in Political Science is a mystery.

In fact, There is no course like M Sc (Political Science) in any universities in AP and Telangana. While M Sc is related to Science, Political Science is an Arts Subject. Courses such as M Sc (Political Science) are taught only in the Foreign Universities.

It can be understood that what happened with KCR is a slip of the tongue moment...something similar to Physics in B Com!

WATCH VIDEO HERE:

Another claim of KCR that he had read 80,000 books is being proven wrong by his Political Rivals. Reading a book takes not less than 4 hours, so an individual can't read more than 1,000 books per year even if he doesn't indulge in any other activities. At the age of 64, How could KCR complete reading 80,000 books?

KCR Fire - Thu Mee Bathukulu Cheda!

KCR Sensational Comments on Mahakutami In Nizamabad Meeting

Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao didn't anticipate Congress-TDP Alliance and hence his calculations had gone wrong with the formation of Mahakutami. Still, He went ahead with the gut feel that welfare schemes introduced by him in the past four years would fetch good results in the early polls.

At the public meeting in Nizamabad, KCR didn't refrain from expressing his anguish on Congress-TDP tieup - 'Siggulekunda Chandrababu Tho Pothu Kalusthara...Thu Mee Bathukulu Cheda...Meevo Bathukula? Evadaithe Telangana Nu Nasanam Chesado, Evadaithe Nirdakhinyamga Vandala Mandi Telangana Biddalanu Encounter Perita Bali Pettukunnado...Telangana Drohi. Adukkunte Nenisthanu Kada Nalugu Seat Lu'.

TRS Supremo cautioned Telanganites not to give back the power which was earned with many sacrifices to Andhra Rulers operating from Amaravati.

Analysts say The way KCR responded on Mahakutami is a clear indication of trying to project it as immoral alliance using Telangana Sentiment. He shouldn't have used such a language while being the Caretaker CM.

This Time, KCR Prefers Harish Over KTR

Telangana CM KCR organized yet another public meeting on September 7 in Husnabad. He will sound poll bugle from the meeting calling it as 'Praja Ashirwada Sabha'.

To make the meeting a grand success, KCR entrusted Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao to make all arrangements for the first meeting of TRS poll campaign. Leaders said KCR was very much disappointed with his son and IT minister KT Rama Rao for the poor public response to the recently held Pragathi Nivedana Sabha in Hyderabad. KTR has taken the responsibility of conducting the meeting.

KTR has failed to show his management skills in mobilizing people. KCR has put the target of 25 lakh people for the meeting but it touched not more than 5 lakh. In this backdrop, KCR brought Harish to the front line and given him the responsibility of organizing the big meeting. It is expected one lakh people will be mobilized.

Early Polls - Nobody's Game But K.Chandrashekar Rao..!

Telangana IT minister K Taraka Rama Rao has been foreseeing the works of Pragathi Nivedana Sabha. While interacting with media, He informed there is a possibility of inviting Federal Front Leaders for the massive public meeting on September 2nd.

KTR declared TRS is well prepared to face elections whenever they might arrive. He recalled KCR had mentioned about the Pragathi Nivedana Sabha in the party plenary itself.

When quizzed about an alliance with the Saffron Party, KTR made it clear ideologies of TRS and the BJP aren't one and the same.

On the TDP-Congress alliance, The Minister commented that even AP TDP Ministers have been opposing such immoral tie-up. He also informed many T-Congress Leaders would join TRS soon.

KTR pointed out no Leader has emerged victorious going for Early Polls to convey KCR will create history by retaining power. He, however, says: 'KCR is yet to announce Early Polls. The victory of TRS is certain whenever elections might happen'.

KCR To Dissolve Assembly on Sep 6?

On the off chance that solid hypotheses are anything to pass by, KCR and his bureau priests are on the whole wanting to break up the Telangana state Assembly on September 6. This is with a specific end goal to encourage the early races. While the Election Commission has clarified that it can't direct the early races if Assembly is broken down inside a half year from the date of general decisions, subsequent to taking a few master feelings, KCR and Co said to have landed to conclusion to break down the Assembly 8 months before the term closes i.e 2 months preceding the standard half year time with the goal that EC will undoubtedly lead the early Assembly races in the state.

Along these lines, KCR and gathering senior pioneers have chosen to break up the Assembly much before December i.e in September. It's learnt that the Assembly session islearnedd upon to be hung on Sep fifth, Sep sixth and prone to break down it on the most recent day i.e Sep sixth. A bureau meeting would be held and the choice to disintegrate the Legislative Assembly would be taken in the gathering.

What's more, the following Assembly Session, by new government, ought to be held before June 8 that is the point at which the principal Assembly session was held by the past/occupant government.

A few urgent documents are being set up by authorities at fast pace. Also, a Cabinet Meeting being held today (Tuesday) is probably going to take a few urgent choices..

'KCR Family Beats Ambani & Adani Families'

KCR Family

Even as there is a year for general elections, the war of words between ruling TRS and Opposition Congress has intensified.

TPCC president Uttam too made severe allegations against KCR and family. Uttam has alleged KCR family of involving in corruption and "looting" Telangana state. KCR family that they surpassed Reliance Company Chief Mukesh Ambani and also another big businessman Adani and family in the country.

Uttam said Congress has moved the court to expose the rampant corruption in the finalization of contract works to the agencies.  Uttam questioned KCR for not inviting global tenders for the multi-crore project works. "The allotment of works to the single agency is raising many doubts.  KCR, KTR, Harish and Kavitha were competing with Ambani and Adani in earning money."

The TPCC President lambasted KCR and his family that they are looting Telangana. "KCR is trying hard to retain power in Telangana aiming to turn Telangana people as slaves in the future," concluded Uttam.

Responding to Uttam Kumar Reddy's comment that he won't shave his beard till he brings down KCR's government, KTR has given a sharp counter saying that Uttam would only end up as a Sanyasi /Saint if takes such resolutions. He said there is no use for the Telangana people if he grows his beard or shaves it. KTR further said, "All you watch films right? All people who grow up beards can't be Gabbar Singhs". These comments of KTR got cheers from the gathering.

No Trust Motion - Debate, Don't Vote?: KCR

No Trust Motion - Debate, Don't Vote?: KCR

The hidden intentions of TRS Government were exposed with the No Confidence Motion moved by TDP against the NDA Government. Already, It's Parliamentary Party Leader Vinod informed TRS would support implementation of AP Reorganisation Act 2014 but not Special Category Status.

If the media reports are true by any chance, KCR instructed 14 TRS MPs to take part in the debate on No Confidence Motion to highlight the promises which were neglected by the Centre. At the same time, TRS MPs would either skip voting or vote in favour of NDA Government.

If this is certfavor happen, All the political parties will change their impression on the Federal Front proposed by KCR. Did the TRS Chief give up plans to form a Third Front? If so, what made him take a u-turn all of a sudden? The recent meeting between PM Modi and CM KCR changed the political equations. Even AP CM Chandrababu Naidu moving close to CMs of West Bengal, Kerala and Karnataka prompted TRS Supremo to change his plans.

Why Is KCR Telephoning MLAs?

The first question that TRS MLAs are asking one another is if they got a call from the KCR. Those who got the call are happy and those who haven't got a call till now, are a worried lot.

Usually, KCR is among the most inaccessible leaders in Telugu states. Even ministers find it difficult to meet him. But, these days KCR himself is calling up some MLAs. The MLAs are pleasantly shocked getting phone calls from the Chief Minister.

TheTRS circles are agog with animated discussions over this. The CM is said to be calling MLAs, including those who defected from other parties also and is asking them about their preparations for the next election.  He is informing them that there could be snap polls. If not in November, it could be in January or February. He is asking them to prepare for any eventuality and mobilize financial resources. To most of these MLAs, he is said to be almost confirming that they would be given party ticket.

When the MLAs tried to tell them about the situation in their constituencies, KCR is surprising them by reeling details about the situation in their respective constituencies.  He is also telling them not to leave anything to chance

While this has given great happiness to all those who got the calls, the MLAs, who haven̢۪t got the calls are a worried lot. They are worried in view of the reports that some sitting MLAs may not be given tickets. At least up to 20 percent of the sitting MLAs may not be given the party tickets. There are also reports that KCR is calling up MLAs only after confirming their position in the constituency through three or four surveys.
