KCR Shouts At A Muslim, Video Goes Viral

Of late, there have been several instances by Opposition Leaders highlighting the fact that Telangana's caretaker CM K. Chandrasekhara Rao is an unapproachable man. The people of his own constituency, Gajwel, also have accused KCR's of being unavailable to them when he visits the constituency. An incident that took place in Kagazangar has become a testimony to labeling KCR as an unapproachable CM.

At a public meeting in Kagazangar, a Muslim youth questioned KCR on his government's promised of 12% reservation to Muslims in the state. Responding to the youth, an irked KCR said: "Baath karte. Baitho Khaamosh baitho...Wohi...12% hi bole...khaamosh baitho (I'm talking....just sit down.)"

When the youth continued his questioning, KCR got annoyed and said furiously: "Baitho na tumhare baap ko bolun kya baatein..(I will tell your father, sit down)." Additionally, KCR commented that "the Opposition parties are sending a drunk man to my meeting and asking him to question me." These remarks and sheer display of arrogance by KCR at a public meeting has not gone down well in political circles as well as public.

People who are listening to a leader expect to be noticed. But, this is not the way a CM or head of state has to respond to a person's angst, say political observers. "The more such behavioural traits of KCR are out in the public, the more unapproachable he becomes in the eyes of people," said a political analyst. It would be wise for KCR be patient even when people react negatively as it is the elections time and passions can run high and change opinions in a jiffy.
