With just one day to the big fat Punjabi wedding of B-Town's very own fashionista, Sonam Kapoor is all decked up and ready for the first formal pre-wedding function of hers, prior to her wedding with Anand Ahuja. The first picture of the actress after she got ready for the Mehendi function is out and the actress looks drop-dead-gorgeous in an Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla lehenga choli.
Keeping in line with the dress code as mentioned in her wedding invitation (Indian festive-shades of white) Sonam looks resplendent in her off white lehenga, with intricate work in gold and white. She completed her look with heavy jewelry and a statement bangle.
While Sonam got the Mehendi done on her hands on Sunday and enjoyed the evening in an intimate gathering of family members and close friends from the industry, the formal Mehendi function is to take place today at her Bandra apartment. A couple of videos that surfaced online had Sonam Kapoor letting herself loose and enjoying to her fullest with her friends and near and dear ones.

The actress is all set to tie the knot to her longtime beau Anand Ahuja on Tuesday, May, 8. The wedding ceremony is to take place at her aunt Kavita's heritage bungalow, Rockdale in the morning. This will be followed by the sangeet and a wedding bash for the industry folks at night at The Leela.
Those who're uninitiated, Sonam and Anand have been seeing each other for about two years now. Though their social media accounts gave enough evidence of them being in a relationship, thanks to their frequent PDA, the duo never went public about it. Now that they're finally getting married, we're glad that our faith in 'happily ever after' has been reinstated!
