After a star-studded wedding ceremony of actress Sonam Kapoor and Delhi-based businessman Anand Ahuja, the family hosted a reception for the newlyweds as well. From Shah Rukh Khan to Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar to Ranbir Kapoor and even b-town leading ladies like Alia Bhatt, Kangana Ranaut and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan were also spotted at the bash to bless the newlyweds

Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja's reception was surely a glamorous reception party at The Leela Hotel, Mumbai. Inside videos of Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan burning the dance floor and singing on stage for bride's mother Sunita Kapoor has already won the Internet. Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor were also the star attraction on the dance floor but it's the father of the bride who has stolen our hearts. Breaking the stereotypes, where bride's father is sad and doesn't want to give away her daughter, Anil Kapoor seemed to be the happiest man at Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja's wedding.

He not just showered the newlyweds with love and blessing for their new beginning in life but also danced his heart out. His Jhakaas dance moves at the dance floor could give the young guns a run for their money. He shook a leg with Ranveer Singh on 'Bachna Ae Haseeno' and even had Arjun Kapoor for the company to dance on 'Tune Maari Entriyaan' but our favorite performance is Anil Kapoor dancing to his 90s hit from Ram Lakhan. He even played the tambourine to remind us of 'Ram Lakhan' days.

With just one day to the big fat Punjabi wedding of B-Town's very own fashionista, Sonam Kapoor is all decked up and ready for the first formal pre-wedding function of hers, prior to her wedding with Anand Ahuja. The first picture of the actress after she got ready for the Mehendi function is out and the actress looks drop-dead-gorgeous in an Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla lehenga choli. 

Keeping in line with the dress code as mentioned in her wedding invitation (Indian festive-shades of white) Sonam looks resplendent in her off white lehenga, with intricate work in gold and white. She completed her look with heavy jewelry and a statement bangle. 

While Sonam got the Mehendi done on her hands on Sunday and enjoyed the evening in an intimate gathering of family members and close friends from the industry, the formal Mehendi function is to take place today at her Bandra apartment. A couple of videos that surfaced online had Sonam Kapoor letting herself loose and enjoying to her fullest with her friends and near and dear ones.

The actress is all set to tie the knot to her longtime beau Anand Ahuja on Tuesday, May, 8. The wedding ceremony is to take place at her aunt Kavita's heritage bungalow, Rockdale in the morning. This will be followed by the sangeet and a wedding bash for the industry folks at night at The Leela. 

Those who're uninitiated, Sonam and Anand have been seeing each other for about two years now. Though their social media accounts gave enough evidence of them being in a relationship, thanks to their frequent PDA, the duo never went public about it. Now that they're finally getting married, we're glad that our faith in 'happily ever after' has been reinstated!
