Salary of Mukesh Ambani who is India's Richest Man remained unchanged for the 10th Consecutive Year. This is an attempt to set a personal example for moderation in managerial compensation levels.
Annual Salary Package of Reliance Industries Chairman continues to stay at Rs 15 crore. This includes Salary, Allowances, Perquisites and other benefits.
Interestingly, Mukesh Ambani gets paid less than his Deputies. Ambani's Cousins Nikhil and Hital Meswani who are RIL Executive Directors received annual pay of Rs 19.9 crore each.
Mukesh Ambani's wealth crossed $40 billion-mark in 2018. He attained a Global Rank of 19 among 2,208 billionaires.
India have altogether 121 billionaires in 2018 according to the Forbes Magazine. Last year, Only 102 Indians featured in the elite list.
