Araku MLA's Killing: Janasena's Shocking Reaction

The brutal killing of Araku's TDP MLA Kidari Sarveswara Rao and ex-MLA Siveri Soma by Maoists has become sensational. While all major political parties have condemned the killing unanimously, Janasena has targeted the ruling TDP government.

In an official statement, Janasena's Political Affairs Committee (PAC) said that the situation wouldn't have arisen had the government had taken timely action in the illegal quarrying. The PAC stated that the MLA and former MLA wouldn't be killed had the government took timely measures to stop illegal mining.

Now, these remarks of Janasena's PAC are under severe criticism especially the timing of the statement given that the issue is very sensitive and the MLA's followers and supporters have already tried to attack a local police station in the fit of the anger. Janasena's comments are indirectly pointing fingers at the slain MLA.
