Indian aka Bharateeyudu has made Shankar earn the respect that he enjoys today as a big filmmaker. He did give two blockbusters in Gentleman and Premikudu (Kadhalan), but Bharateeyudu established his mark permanently.
By telling the story of a non-compromising freedom fighter who after retiring as a farmer decides to fight to free country from corruption in his own vigilante way, Shankar strongly proved that he believes in discussing social topics in an entertaining.
Lately, as his films are missing the social message, he is facing criticism. But now, he is back with a sequel to Indian.
Almost after 23 years, the story of Senapathi, a freedom fighter had to be brought back as the corruption again became a strong worrying point in the country.

Well, the poster shows that the Grand Old freedom fighter of India is ready to become a warrior again!
Film shoot will start from November and most of it will be shot in Hyderabad. Another important update is that the movie will be a bilingual.
