Rakul: 2018, A Year Rakul Missed

Beauty Rakul Preet Singh is the most talked about actress in Tollywood in 2018 because she has been doing other language films but hasn't signed a new Telugu film. And that also revealed another bitter fact.

Apparently this hot shot Punjabi siren has no single released in 2018 when it comes to her Telugu films. That said, she has seen her Tamil film Khaki released here while her Hindi film Aiyaari also released this year. But there is no straight Telugu film of her that made to theatres.

IN fact, Rakul currently has no Telugu films in hand, and one wonders why she is not signing them. Other than Naga Chaitanya's Venky Mama, which has no clear indication regarding its shooting dates, there is no movie in Rakul's hand here. Some say that the talented hottie hasn't given dates to any as she was busy with a Hindi film and two Tamil films.

Some Tollywood insiders, however, felt that Rakul is not interested in glamorous roles in Telugu films anymore and hence she is not able to sign a film here. Anyway, she missed silver screen in 2018 and will be seen in NTR's Biopic in coming January as she gets ready to enthrall everyone in the shoes of iconic actress Sridevi.
