Release Update: Maharshis Delay Inevitable Heres The New Release Date

Superstar Mahesh Babu's keenly anticipated silver jubilee film 'Maharshi' was supposed to hit screens on April 5th to cash in on the summer holiday advantage. But, a delay in the US Visa procurement had led to a minor postponement, and the film was later pushed to April 25th.

Until recently, speculations were rife that Maharshi may not be making it to theaters even on the April 25th. But, to assure the anxious fans, the makers announced last week that there is no delay and that Maharshi will surely release on the April 25th as scheduled.

However, it looks like a further postponement is inevitable for Maharshi. The inside buzz is that the entire shooting will be wrapped up only on the April 16th, leaving not much time for the post-production. The latest update is that Maharshi will be released on May 9th. An official announcement from Dil Raju's camp is expected to be out soon.
