Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt quiz Amitabh Bachchan about 'Lord of all weapons' in this teaser

On the occasion of Mahashivratri, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt along with the director of Brahmastra, Ayan Mukerji headed to Prayag to launch the official logo of the film during Kumbh Mela. They unveiled the logo with the help of drones and it created a beautiful image up in the sky. The trio couldn't contain their excitement and even the onlookers were treated with a visual delight. The movie is a part of a trilogy and it's considered as one of the most anticipated films of 2019.

Today, the makers unveiled the logo via video and it gives more insight about the film. The video starts with Ranbir asking Amitabh Bachchan about a weapon which is in pieces, but when joined, it forms a circle and there's a symbol on it. Bachchan replies to RK that it's history's greatest treasure which contains the power of the whole universe within it. Alia asks Big B what's the weapon and he says with a heavy baritone, 'Brahmāstra'. Then the beautiful logo forms!

Towards the end of the video, Ranbir asks Big B about the visions he keeps on getting of Brahmastra. To which Senior Bachchan is heard saying that Shiva (Ranbir's character) is connected to the last battle for the Brahmastra.

Brahmāstra also stars Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna Akkineni in pivotal roles. The first part of the film is slated to release during Christmas 2019.

The film is produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Namit Malhotra, Ranbir Kapoor, Ayan Mukerji, and Fox Star Studios.
