Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma enjoyed a romantic date by the lake.

Actor Anushka Sharma could not have hoped for a sweeter birthday celebration than this. Her husband and cricketer Virat Kohli have shared pictures from a very different kind of birthday party, one that would make romantics all around the country quite jealous.

Virat and Anushka spend their Wednesday evening by the lakeside, listening to romantic songs and sharing cuddles. Virat captioned the video with a simple heart emoji. The song playing in the video is Bob Marley’s Is This Love.

Their fans also couldn’t help but coo over the video. “Simply awesome... The perfect example of made for each other” wrote a fan. “Now that looks like a perfect couple,” wrote another. “Bdday bash Anushka bhabhi,” read a comment.

Anushka celebrated her 31st birthday on Wednesday. She married Virat in December 2017 in a secret wedding in Italy. The two have often shared romantic pictures with each other on social media since. They celebrated Diwali, Karwa Chauth, New Years together and gave fans glimpses into their happy married lives.

Talking about Virat, Anushka said last year in an interview, “I think we are both not so attached to what we do. The other day someone asked me a question you know ‘power couple and two powerful people from your own industry. You know when you are together, how do you manage this and all’. And I thought to myself and I told them also, we don’t see ourselves like that. We start to see ourselves that way then there is something really wrong in the nature of our relationship. If someone really wants to have an insight into our lives, we are very simple people, wanting to do normal, very simple things.”

Anushka was last seen in Aanand L Rai’s Zero with Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif which released in December. The film was a major flop and Anushka has not announced her next project after it.
