After Baahubali: The Conclusion, Rajamouli has turned towards a folk fantasy set in the 1900s by bringing both Komaram Bheem (played by NTR) and Alluri Sitarama Raju (played by Ram Charan) together. And Rajamouli is set to reveal the unknown details about their life stories and their struggle during their self-imposed exile. With the cast itself, Rajamouli did make his mark. NTR, Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt have been roped in for lead roles and the hunt for another female lead is underway. Tamil actor-director Samuthirakani has been cast for a crucial role as well.
Meanwhile, in the latest casting coup, Rajamouli has roped in Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn for an important role. Apparently, Ajay Devgn will be playing Ram Charan's father in the movie. This is interesting. We hear that Ajay Devgn has agreed to play Charan's father as soon as Rajamouli approached him.

Rs 350 Crore to 400 Crore budget, Rajamouli has planned terrific introduction scenes with Ram Charan and NTR which alone costing Rs 40 Crore together. The team has already shot in Hyderabad, Gujarat, and Pune. In the next shooting schedule, the team will head to Ahmedabad and Pune where it will go on for the next couple of months.
