New Biopic Movie: Female Cricket Legends Biopic To Come Out Soon!

Mithali Raj is a cricket legend and she accomplished the records like successful Indian women captain and highest run-scorer in Women's cricket bypassing 6000 International runs.

She took Indian Women to finals of World Cup 2 years ago and today's superstars like Smriti Mandanna, Harshdeep Kaur, Gunjan were mentored by her.

She is from Hyderabad and when social media trolls attacked her for a photoshoot that revealed some skin, she reverses asked them, "Who are you to judge me?"

Later, she even asked the media to not ask her only about Men's cricket. This very aspect of her nature did land her in some controversies like going against coach Ramesh Powar and even asking why he is dictating the team?!

Tapsee Pannu is excited to play her on-screen and she wants to learn cricket and do all that is necessary to play her, it seems.

The actress said to a famous English magazine that she liked the way Mithali Raj did not hold back from saying what she felt and even though she never watched cricket much, she is willing to go the distance for her.

Mithali won Arjun Award and was honored with Padma Shri award by Indian Government. She is an inspiration from many young talented women cricketers across the globe.
