From the last couple of weeks, there are rumors everywhere that Megastar Chiranjeevi's forthcoming magnum opus is going to miss the release date. Though #SyeRaa is said to be scheduled for October 2nd, the buzz has that the film is likely to move into Sankranthi 2020 battle. How far this is correct?
Though the makers of Sye Raa haven't given any clarity over this, megastar Chiranjeevi himself spoke about it in an interview. He clarified with his daughter in law Upasana Kamineni that the arrival of Sye Raa on October 2nd, which happens to be Gandhi Jayanthi, is a sort of tribute of like thing after making a patriotic film. In fact, these words reaffirm that the Surender Reddy directed film is set for October 2nd release only.
And the big question many ask after this indirect clarification is that why Sye Raa promotions are not started. Actually many films including another big-budgeted movie Saaho are eating away the promotion space for now, so what is the point in putting Sye Raa in between them? After August 30th (Saaho release) maybe, Megastar and team will jump into the promotions arena.
