Movie Report: Trisha to get back to Telugu with Chiranjeevi 152 Movie Details inside

Trisha, who was last seen in Nayaki in Telugu, might make her comeback after three years with a big film.

Trisha is one of the most sought-after actresses in the South and has managed to command a loyal fan base in all film industries. She recently stepped into Mollywood with Hey Jude and scored a hit. Now, the actress is all set to get back to Tollywood as well.

According to sources, Trisha is on the verge of signing a big film in Telugu. She is the front-runner to play the female lead in Chiranjeevi's upcoming film with director Koratala Siva. Tentatively titled Chiru 152, this film might be produced by Ram Charan.

The rumours about Charan producing his dad's film made the rounds when he visited Siva's office in Hyderabad. The Rangasthalam actor took to Instagram to share a picture of himself and Siva from the latter's office. He wrote, "A quick visit to Siva Garu’s office. Love the energy. All the best for #Chiru152 #koratalasiva #matineeentertainment(sic)"

Also, on October 17, Charan's Konidela Pro Company took to Twitter to reveal that the title for Chiru 152 hasn't been finalised yet. "#Chiru152 title is not finalized yet. We will officially announce the title and further details about the project once finalized," they wrote.

Recently, Chiranjeevi hinted that he would team up with his son Charan for a film. Speculations are rife that Charan plays an important role in the film. However, the makers are tight-lipped about the developments regarding Chiru 152.

Trisha was last seen in Telugu in Nayaki, which hit the theatres in 2016. The film tanked at the box office and the actress turned her focus completely on Tamil films. The actress has a slew of films in her hand in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam.
