Actors Gossips: Yami Gautam reacts to Filmfare snub for "Bala", says "It's an extended journey, I'm a hustler, for life"?

The actress on Wednesday took to her Instagram account and shared a press release on being snubbed.

Filmfare Awards was an evening to recollect for several members within the industry who got recognized for his or her work and awarded for it, however, actress Yami Gautam was overlooked of the nominations for her performance in Bala opposite Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar.

The actress on Wednesday took to her Instagram account and shared a press release on being snubbed. She revealed that she felt enforced to talk after she received "countless messages for getting overlooked and not being nominated for (her) performance in Bala".

Yami wrote, "Honestly, winning a gift does desire a robust sense of accomplishment and confidence. But quite that, a nomination in itself, maybe a mark of acknowledgment, love, and respect towards your diligence and talent. Having said that, the esteemed jury is a number of the foremost noted and senior members of the fraternity who have made important contributions to cinema. Hence, I shall respectfully accept their perspectives."

She further revealed how the snub only made her "more self-assured and determined in life".

For the uninitiated, Bala earned three nominations at the Filmfare awards, the simplest actor award for Ayushmann Khurrana, for supporting actress Seema Pahwa, and for dialogue writer Niren Bhatt.
