Actors Gossips: Chitrangada Singh exposes On Casting Couch

Over the years many celebrities have opened about casting couch and therefore the infamous #MeToo movement exposed several big names from the Industry. Like many actresses and actors, Bollywood actress Chitrangada Singh shared her experiences within the industry.

In the latest interview, when she is asked about casting couch, she admitted that the casting couch does exist in Bollywood and there are people like this everywhere.

Chitrangada Singh stated that it's happened together with her but Bollywood industry isn't the place where anybody forces you. The malpractice of posing for sexual favors in exchange for a suggestion considerably exists within the industry, but she said that it remains one's own option to oblige or not, but nobody will 'force' anybody.

"There is enough space and respect for everybody and their choices. While one does feel bad when one loses a chance, on the other hand, those are the alternatives one makes. So, you don’t sulk about it. It feels bad and that I have lost out on projects too but at an equivalent time if you're comfortable with it, then plow ahead and roll in the hay. I'm not here to judge anyone," Chitrangada said.
