Actors Gossips: Navya Nanda graduates at home; Amitabh Bachchan, Shweta, Abhishek pour in emotional congratulatory messages
Amitabh Bachchan, Shweta Bachchan Nanda, and Abhishek Bachchan took to their social media pages and shared photos of Navya Naveli Nada from her graduation ceremony held the reception.
COVID-19 crisis has led to the cancellation of many events around the world. Even students who are graduating this year couldn't get their prom night and also graduation ceremony. These are the 2 most awaited events in students around the world. This year, Amitabh Bachchan's granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda also got graduated but no ceremony was held. So, Big B, her mom Shweta Bachchan Nanda and Abhishek Bachchan decided to host a graduation ceremony at their home itself.
For an equivalent, Navya wore a homemade graduation cap with a gown stitched by Bachchan's staff for the young star kid. Emotional Big B, Shweta, and Abhishek took to their social media pages and shared sweet photos of Navya's graduation at the house ceremony.

Shweta Bachchan Nanda took to her Instagram page and shared a series of photos with Navya Naveli Nanda as she graduated from college but celebrated it at her home.
Shweta wrote, "Class of 2020 - Navya finished college today and since she and everybody else graduating this year won’t get a ceremony we decided to DIY one. With a chart paper cap and a gown hand stitched from scraps of black tenting. I threw on a Fordham (her college) sweatshirt over my PJs!! Congratulations baby I really like you and am pleased with you! Go forth and conquer x (I’m not crying you’re crying)."

Amitabh Bachchan took to his blog page and wrote about Navya's graduation ceremony held the reception. He wrote, "She graduates, from her College in NY, Bachelor of Arts Degree in Digital technology, in May 2020 .. and therefore the lockdown and CoViD 19 has canceled this vital moment in her life .. we had all planned to be together with her at the formal function within the College, but all that came to a halt ..!
She wanted to wear that traditional cloak and gown, though, that graduates wear at the ceremony, alongside the cap .. but...
So the staff stitched an impromptu gown for her and made a cap .. and she or he went out into the garden to celebrate her DAY .. and take some pictures for the record .. as she put it...
For a woman of her age, it had been loveliest for her to simply accept this example yet be positive and have the type of attitude she designed for herself .. so pleased with her .. all her achievements .. and her spirit..."

Amitabh Bachchan also wrote on his Instagram page, "Granddaughter Navya .. the foremost important day within the lifetime of a young student - Graduation Day ..! She graduated from College in NY , but ceremony and presence got canceled due to Corona and lockdown .. she couldn't go .. we too had all planned to be together with her on this important occasion .. BUT .. she though wanted to wear that Graduation gown and Cap .. so staff stitched her an impromptu gown and cap .. and she or he wore it and celebrated reception in Jalsa... So pleased with you NAVYA .. god bless .. such a positive and happy attitude .. LOVE YOU".

While Abhishek Bachchan wrote, "Congratulations my Navya on your graduation! Although thanks to the lockdown you weren't ready to celebrate it at your university together with your classmates and therefore the home garden had to suffice... looks like yesterday that we were moving you into your dormitory as a freshman... Wait, strike that. Not "we", "I"!! (You always managed to form Mamu do the heavy lifting). God bless you! Can't wait to ascertain what you've got future for the planet ."
