Movie Gossips: "Chhori": Nushrat Bharucha to star in Hindi remake of Marathi horror flick "Lapachhapi"

'Chhori' is being helmed by Vishal Furia and produced by Abundantia Entertainment and Crypt TV.

'Chhori': Nushrat Bharucha to star in Hindi remake of Marathi horror flick 'Lapachhapi'

Nushrat Bharucha has been roped in to play the lead during a horror flick titled Chhori. The film is that the Hindi remake of Marathi flick Lapachhapi which released within the year 2016. Vishal Furia, who directed the Pooja Sawant starrer also will be helming the Hindi project. Chhori is produced by Abundantia Entertainment of India and Crypt TV of the USA.

Sharing her excitement, Nushrat said during a statement, "I am extremely excited to be a neighborhood of Chhori. This genre excites me and therefore the incontrovertible fact that the story is anchored in practices of our society makes it relatable and impactful. I even have wanted to figure with Vishal Furia and that I am so glad we've finally collaborated on Chhori, which is so on the brink of his heart. Abundantia Entertainment and Vikram Malhotra have always backed high-quality, progressive stories and are known to form films with strong female voices – and as an actor, I couldn’t invite more."

She added, "Our collaboration with a world creator like Crypt TV and its CEO Jack Davis, whose expertise during this genre is unparalleled, makes this even more thrilling. I even have enjoyed a number of their content thoroughly and in my very first meeting with Jack, we connected instantly on how we envisaged this genre and film. I'm looking forward to beginning my experience with all of them."

While Vishal said, "Nushrat may be a very strong and promising actor who i think is well equipped to essay a robust role all by herself. I even have wanted to collaborate together with her for a short time now and that I am glad that we finally have a movie together."
