Movie Gossips: Shilpa Shetty In Nithiin Andhadhun?

Bollywood film Andhadhun is being remade in Telugu and Nithiin goes to play the lead role during this film and can step into Ayushmann Khurrana’s shoes. There are tons of speculations on who are going to be playing the role Tabu has reprised within the original film which is directed by Sriram Raghavan.

Initially, there are rumors that Tabu herself goes to play an equivalent role. But because she asked for an enormous fat cheque, it's said that the manufacturers began trying to find another actress.

That is when names of actresses like Anasuya Bharadwaj, Ramya Krishnan et al. started doing rounds. But as per the newest buzz, which could even progress in lockdown, it's said that Shilpa Shetty goes to play this role.

As of now, there has been no official confirmation on an equivalent, but the excitement is robust as a number one daily has reported that the actress is in talks with the manufacturers of the film. Shilpa Shetty appeared in Telugu films like Sahasaveerudu Sagara Kanya, Veedevadandi Babu, Bhalevadivi Basu, and Azad. Her last Telugu film was Bhalevadivi Basu released in 2001.

There is a rumor that Nithiin wants Keerthy Suresh, his Rang De co-star to play the actress, the role played by Radhika Apte.

Till now, the manufacturers haven't much official confirmation of the lead cast of the film.
