News: Why Don't Leaders From Uttar Pradesh Participate In The Jodo Yatra?
Taking on the saffron party Bharatiya Janata Party is not simple because it is
in its strongest shape since its founding. Rahul Gandhi, a former head of the
Congress, then launched the Bharat Jodo Yatra. He is soliciting assistance
from the opposition parties as well as support from the general public in
order for them to comprehend the harm the BJP is creating.
If the opposition parties can unite, the BJP will need to put in a lot of
effort. It might either come out on the wrong side of the polls or win by a
slim margin. If one of these occurs, it would be a significant victory for the
opposition.
One of the biggest states in the nation, Uttar Pradesh might help make an
impression at the Center because it is the home of temples. So, getting the
state's support is crucial right now. Rahul Gandhi, though, is receiving
back-to-back shocks from the state's leaders.
Akhilesh Yadav and Mayawati, both former chief ministers of Uttar Pradesh,
declined to participate in the yatra. Despite invitations, the two leaders of
their respective parties chose not to participate in the yatra for a variety
of reasons.
As if it weren't enough, another important leader skipped the yatra. Om
Prakash Rajbhar, the president of the Suheldev Bhartiya Samaj Party, will now
decide whether to separate from Rahul Gandhi. He claimed that although he had
been invited to the yatra, he was not yet prepared to participate.
The alleged cause of this is interpersonal conflicts among the leaders. Former
Chief Ministers Mayawati and Akhilesh Yadav may have felt that participating
in the Bharat Jodo Yatra was inappropriate given their positions. Om Prakash
Rajbhar, a past ally of the BJP, is rumored to want to join the saffron party
again.
