Newlyweds Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh made a stunning picture at their Mumbai reception at the Grand Hyatt hotel, Kalina, northwest Mumbai, on December 1. The reception is for all their friends from Bollywood.

After dazzling in Sabyasachi for her various bridal looks, and wearing Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla for her earlier Mumbai reception, Dippy looked spectacular in a Zuhair Murad gown.

Finally! A newlywed couple of tinsel town landed in Mumbai on Sunday morning and the city almost had a collective meltdown when Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh were about to exit the airport. Clad in ethics by Sabyasachi Mukherji, Deepika and Ranveer were mobbed at the airport and were finding it pretty difficult to navigate their way through the crowd that had gathered around them. The paparazzi had been waiting for hours to capture them the moment they came out while the fans of the actors had also gathered to catch the first glimpse of their favorite stars.

A few videos have surfaced online in which DeepVeer can be seen trying to make their way through the crowd. It was so endearing to see Ranveer shielding his wife Deepika amidst the crowd, in order to protect her. We're sure Deepika won't be needing a bodyguard any more since now she has her hubby dearest to protect her in situations like these.

Though they were having a difficult time, to their credit, both Ranveer and Deepika braved the crowd with a broad smile and even waved to their fans and the shutterbugs. And can we take a moment to admire how beautiful Deepika looked with that bridal glow?

Ranveer and Deepika headed to the groom's Bandra residence for the gruh pravesh of the bride. The couple will fly to Bengaluru for their first wedding reception which is to be held on November 21. Another reception will be held in Mumbai on November 28 for their industry friends.

A look at Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh's dreamy wedding ceremonies

Bollywood's 'Bajirao' and 'Mastani' have been inseparable since Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Goliyon Ki Raasleela' that was released in 2013. They had announced their wedding on October 21 after dating each other for 6 years.

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh tied the knot in Lake Como in a traditional Konkani ceremony on November 14, while a Sindhi wedding was organized on November 15, both of which were attended by close-knit relatives of the two actors.

Media, both national and international, was stationed outside the venue but could only manage a series of grainy images and videos, most of the guests and family members, doing little to quench the thirst of the stars' fans. However, after a long wait, Deepika and Ranveer did release the first pictures as a married couple on Thursday.

Here all the pictures from the DeepVeer wedding that we have seen, so far-

1. Nandi Puja at Bengaluru


Their wedding festivities kick-started on November 2 with a traditional Nandi Puja. The ceremony took place at Deepika's residence in Bengaluru. The bride looked resplendent in a saffron-colored ensemble.

2. Ranveer's Haldi


On November 4, the paparazzi captured the groom enjoying his haldi ceremony at his Mumbai residence. Ranveer was seen wearing a white kurta in the images, with his face and arms coated with 'haldi'.

3. Chooda ceremony


Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone wore color-coordinated Sabyasachi outfits at their Chooda ceremony. While Deepika kept it completely ethnic, Ranveer couldn't resist adding his little quirk to the outfit. He chose to team up his heavily embellished sherwani with a pair of white sneakers.

4. The Konkani Wedding


The lovebirds tied the knot in a traditional Konkani ceremony on November 14 which stretched for over five hours.

Ranveer was seen wearing a cream-white kurta-dhoti, while Deepika looked gorgeous in what appears to be a maroon Kanjeevaram sari.

The world famous upper patio was decorated with hundreds of white roses, ANI reported. The couple was surrounded by friends and family members dressed in white attires on the villa's famous patio overlooking the scenic Lake Como.

5. The Sindhi Wedding


The second day of Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh's wedding celebrations began on a high note. The beautiful bride was the first to arrive around 9.30 am (local time). Dressed in a gorgeous Sabyasachi lehenga, Deepika arrived with her family before being taken inside Villa del Balbianello under the cover of black umbrellas. Deepika's dupatta had the blessing 'Sada Saubhagyavati bhavah' inscribed in golden letters.

An hour or so later, Ranveer Singh arrived wearing a red colored sherwani. The villa was decked up with hot pinks and blood-red roses for the Sindhi ceremony.

6. One with the family


The newlywed couple poses with their close friends and relatives after their Konkani wedding. The picture was shared by stylist Nitasha Gaurav who captioned it, “Us and ours.#MrsandMrRanveerSingh #deepveerkishaadi #ranveerkishaadi.”

7. From their after-wedding party


Ranveer and Deepika will return to India on November 18 and will host a reception in Bengaluru for the family-members and relatives on November 21. It will be followed by a grand reception for friends from Bollywood on November 28. They are also expected to take a short honeymoon break before getting back to work.

"Welcome to the club": Anushka Sharma wishes newly weds Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone in the best way ever!


While Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone kept the details of their much private and intimate yet grand wedding under wraps, they finally obliged their fans with the pictures from both Konkani and Sindhi wedding ceremonies on social media on November 15, soon after their Anand Karaj. As soon as they shared the pictures, wishes started flooding on their posts filled with lots of love and blessings.

While a number of B-Town celebsincluding the likes of Karan Johar, Shraddha Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra among others wished the newly weds, it was Anushka Sharma's message that stole quite a few hearts. Anushka took to her Twitter account and welcomed the newly weds to 'the club' in the best way ever. She wrote, "Wishing you both a world of happiness and a beautiful journey together. May the love & respect you have in each other, grow leaps and bounds. And welcome to the club"

 
       
   
Those who're caught unaware, Ranveer and Anushka are ex flames, who were dating each other for quite a long time in the past before calling it quits. Both Ranveer and Anushka have let the bygones be bygones and share a healthy friendship. In fact, when Anushka tied the knot with Virat Kohli in December last year, Ranveer and Deepikareportedly sent across a huge bouquet of flowers along with a note to their residence to congratulate them. So when first pictures of Ranveer and DP's wedding came out, Anushka was among the first ones to congratulate them.

The pre-wedding festivities of Deepika and Ranveer began from Monday, November 12 with their official engagement. This was followed by  Mehendi and Sangeet celebrations on Noveber 13, Tuesday. After their Konkani and Sindhi wedding ceremonies on November 14 and 15, the couple will be hosting two wedding receptions in India.

 
       
   
Ranveer and Deepika are expected to return to India on November 16. The newly married couple will be hosting their first wedding reception in Deepika's hometown Bengaluru at The Leela Palace hotel on November 21 followed by a star-studded reception at Grand Hyatt in Mumbai on November 28.

All Inside pics and leaked deets: Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone get married amidst a grand fireworks show with live music, fairytale style


Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone‘s big-ticket wedding is underway at an Italian Villa Del Balbianello at Lake Como and yesterday, they got married in Konkani tradition. While the couple spent a lot of money on the security, there were a few pictures and videos leaked from the venue. Blurry as they were, it was obvious that the ceremony was just like a fairy tale with beautiful decoration of fresh flowers, live music by Shubha Mudgal, and the everlasting love between the bride and groom which was the biggest highlight of the entire wedding.

While the entire family was dressed in white and gold, Deepika Padukone went for a traditional red and gold lehenga from the house of Sabyasachi. Ranveer looked royal in a white and gold sherwani. Sources say that it was ethereal to watch Deepika walk regally to the venue where her groom was waiting for her. Also, it was interesting to see that all family members were ferried in boats to the venue. The food was traditional Konkani spread. Those who attended the wedding had tears in their eyes. Deepika’s cousin tweeted about it too. He said, “Magical week, steeped purely in love. Fairy-tale union of the two most kind, beautiful souls. @RanveerOfficial Welcome to the fam! you’ve dethroned me as filmiest, but I’ll cope ?? @deepikapadukone Never seen you happier; you deserve no less!”
