A look at Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh's dreamy wedding ceremonies

Bollywood's 'Bajirao' and 'Mastani' have been inseparable since Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Goliyon Ki Raasleela' that was released in 2013. They had announced their wedding on October 21 after dating each other for 6 years.

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh tied the knot in Lake Como in a traditional Konkani ceremony on November 14, while a Sindhi wedding was organized on November 15, both of which were attended by close-knit relatives of the two actors.

Media, both national and international, was stationed outside the venue but could only manage a series of grainy images and videos, most of the guests and family members, doing little to quench the thirst of the stars' fans. However, after a long wait, Deepika and Ranveer did release the first pictures as a married couple on Thursday.

Here all the pictures from the DeepVeer wedding that we have seen, so far-

1. Nandi Puja at Bengaluru

Their wedding festivities kick-started on November 2 with a traditional Nandi Puja. The ceremony took place at Deepika's residence in Bengaluru. The bride looked resplendent in a saffron-colored ensemble.

2. Ranveer's Haldi

On November 4, the paparazzi captured the groom enjoying his haldi ceremony at his Mumbai residence. Ranveer was seen wearing a white kurta in the images, with his face and arms coated with 'haldi'.

3. Chooda ceremony

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone wore color-coordinated Sabyasachi outfits at their Chooda ceremony. While Deepika kept it completely ethnic, Ranveer couldn't resist adding his little quirk to the outfit. He chose to team up his heavily embellished sherwani with a pair of white sneakers.

4. The Konkani Wedding

The lovebirds tied the knot in a traditional Konkani ceremony on November 14 which stretched for over five hours.

Ranveer was seen wearing a cream-white kurta-dhoti, while Deepika looked gorgeous in what appears to be a maroon Kanjeevaram sari.

The world famous upper patio was decorated with hundreds of white roses, ANI reported. The couple was surrounded by friends and family members dressed in white attires on the villa's famous patio overlooking the scenic Lake Como.

5. The Sindhi Wedding

The second day of Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh's wedding celebrations began on a high note. The beautiful bride was the first to arrive around 9.30 am (local time). Dressed in a gorgeous Sabyasachi lehenga, Deepika arrived with her family before being taken inside Villa del Balbianello under the cover of black umbrellas. Deepika's dupatta had the blessing 'Sada Saubhagyavati bhavah' inscribed in golden letters.

An hour or so later, Ranveer Singh arrived wearing a red colored sherwani. The villa was decked up with hot pinks and blood-red roses for the Sindhi ceremony.

6. One with the family

The newlywed couple poses with their close friends and relatives after their Konkani wedding. The picture was shared by stylist Nitasha Gaurav who captioned it, “Us and ours.#MrsandMrRanveerSingh #deepveerkishaadi #ranveerkishaadi.”

7. From their after-wedding party

Ranveer and Deepika will return to India on November 18 and will host a reception in Bengaluru for the family-members and relatives on November 21. It will be followed by a grand reception for friends from Bollywood on November 28. They are also expected to take a short honeymoon break before getting back to work.
