New Logo Poster: Gopichands Spy Thriller Chanakya!

New Poster Gopichands Title "Chanakya"


After his 25th Flick 'Pantham', Gopichand signed a Spy Thriller titled 'Chanakya' which is being directed by Thiru. Mehreen Pirzada played the female lead. Anil Sunkara has been bankrolling this poster on AK Entertainments Banner.

Chanakya is an ancient Indian philosopher and royal advisor during the Maurya Empire. Preferring such a Title gives an impression that Gopichand is playing the role of a Spy who is extremely wise to tackle any challenges.

Gopichand is badly in need of success after 'Loukyam'. Thriller Films such as 'Goodachari' have become Box Office winners in the recent past. The Macho Hero might have made the right choice finally.

New Tittle: #Mahesh26 Sarileru Neekevvaru Title Logo


On the eve of Superstar Krishna's 76th Birthday, Title Logo of Mahesh Babu's upcoming flick under the direction of Anil Ravipudi has been unveiled. 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' is the title finalized for this biggie. Mahesh Babu, Anil Sunkara and Dil Raju have been jointly producing this movie. Makers confirmed Sankranthi 2020 Release.

In the Title Poster, Soldier Cap placed over a Rifle gives a feeling that #Mahesh26 could have an Army Backdrop.

Superstar Krishna announced the Title in the Title Announcement video. Makers declared Mahesh Babu enters his golden era beginning with 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' after completion of Silver Jubilee.


Rashmika Mandanna is playing the female lead in 'Sarileru Neekevvaru'. Senior Actresses Vijayashanti and Ramya Krishna will be essaying crucial roles in this movie. Jagapathi Babu does a pivotal character. Bandla Ganesh is making a comeback into films with #Mahesh26. Devi Sri Prasad composes Music. Regular Shoot begins from June 2019.

Title Logo : YSR Biopic 'Yatra'


Ever since Mammootty has given his nod for the political biopic of late CM YS Rajasekhar Reddy, the film has garnered good buzz. Titled Yatra, the makers of the film have unveiled its theme poster that reveals the title logo.

The film marks the reunion of Anando Brahma combination - Mahi V Raghav and 70MM Entertainments. Prabhas close friend Vijay Chilla and another Sashi Devreddy are jointly bankrolling the film.

The film is going on to the floors from April 9 and Mammootty is expected to join the shoot. With the theme poster features an impressive one-liner 'Kadapa Dathi Prathi Gadapaloki Vastunnanu...Meetho Kalisi Nadavalanundi...Mee Gunde Chappudu Vinalanundi', it needs to be seen how well director Mahi could actually recreate the life and times of late YSR.

It's Official: YSR Biopic Gets Superstar And A Title


Its the season of biopics in Tollywood and already we have films on Gautamiputra Satakarni and now Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy released and in pipeline respectively. And then there is NTR being carved which showcases the life and times of the legendary actor and politician. Here is another such film.

This is not a full pledged biopic of Congress leader, former chief minister, late YS Rajasekhar Reddy, but the film will show only his iconic 'pada yatra', which voted him to power in 2004. Directed by Mahi V Raghav of "Anando Brahma" fame, the makers other day approached Malayalam Superstar Mammootty and got a nod from him. 

Director Mahi confirmed, "Yes, Mammootty sir agreed to play the role of YSR. The film will be made on a lavish scale. I've to meet him soon again to decided and discuss the characterization". And then, there comes the big news about the title of the film too. This iconic film will be titled "Yatra", in resemblance to its content. 

Meanwhile, the presence of both Nayantara as YSR's wife and Surya as YS Jagan is completely rumored. "We haven't finalized any other cast and neither approached Nayan and Surya for any role. They are just rumors" the director said.

Here's the first look of Sonam - Dulquer's 'Zoya Factor'


The first look of Sonam Kapoor and Dulquer Salmaan's upcoming Bollywood film 'Zoya Factor' has been released. Though the film has yet to go on floors, the makers have released the first look of the film, which features the lead actors of the film. 

The film is based on Anuja Chauhan's best-selling novel 'The Zoya Factor'. In the first look, Sonam and Dulquer are holding the copy of the novel and it also has the character name of both these actors. 

Dulquer Salmaan is all set to make his Bollywood debut with Ronnie Screwala's 'Karwaan', which also stars Irrfan Khan and Mithila Palkar. 

Zoya Factor is about a Rajput girl named Zoya Singh Solanki who meets the Indian Cricket Team through her job as an executive in an advertising agency and ends up becoming a lucky charm for the team in the 2010 Cricket World Cup. Eventually, Zoya falls for skipper Nikhil Khoda who doesn't believe in luck and superstitions. 

Director Abhishek Sharma will be directing the film, which will be produced by Fox Star Studios and Adlabs Films. 

The film is slated to release on 5th April 2019.

Watch Teaser - Prabhudheva's silence is the most powerful scream for 'Mercury'


Prabhudheva is all set to play the antagonist for his upcoming project, a silent thriller named Mercury with filmmaker Karthik Subbaraj. 

Subbaraj shared his thoughts saying "While I was making films down south, I had an idea to make a film without dialogues. So I began writing an engaging thriller and was happy with the end result". The filmmaker's Tamil Musical - Gangster won two national awards for Best supporting actor and Best Editing at the award ceremony 

Subbaraj does not want his new project, Mercury to come across as an experiment and also plans to release it globally. 

He said, "When there are no dialogues, it is a challenge not only for the director but for the entire crew. For the actor, dialogues facilitate improvisation at the dubbing stage but with no lines, you can convey things only through your performance and that is a challenge that everybody took sportingly"

On his decision to get on board with Prabhudheva, Subbaraj said "I like Prabhudheva as an actor. We have seen him more as a choreographer and director lately but I felt he has a lot of untapped potential as an actor as the films he has featured in previously are all about the song, dance, and comedy. He has never played an antagonist before. When I approached him with the script and said that it didn't have any songs or even dialogues, he was kicked about it and immediately came on board." 

Prabhudheva is excited about his silent venture, the actor said, "Mercury offers a very unique take on the thriller genre it also offers a huge scope to showcase one's acting potential. With all this and an intelligent director like Karthik Subbaraj backing it, the experience was superb." 

Directed by Karthik Subbaraj, starring Prabhudheva in the lead and Deepak Paramesh, Remya Nambeesan and Anish Padman in pivotal roles, Mercury is slated to release on 13th April 2018.

Karan Johar announces Diwali 2020 film 'Rannbhoomi' with Varun Dhawan in the lead

On Monday morning, ace filmmaker Karan Johar announced a new film starring his favourite student - Varun Dhawan in the lead. 

Tiled 'Rannbhoomi', the movie will reunite Varun with 'Badrinath Ki Dulhania' and 'Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania' director Shashank Khaitan.KJo took to Twitter to reveal the news as he wrote, 'So proud to announce #RANNBHOOMI ...@ShashankKhaitan and @Varun_dvn take a giant leap in their third offering together! A solid spectacle with a beating heart!!! DIWALI 2020 release! Remaining lead cast to be announced soon! @DharmaMovies @apoorvamehta18'


We are yet to know if Alia Bhatt will also be a part of this project or not.Varun Dhawan also shared a picture with filmmaker Shashank Khaitan and producer Karan Johar on Twitter and wrote, " A warrior will rise."


The 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' filmmaker had teased a small video on Sunday before making the announcement on Monday morning. 'Rannbhoomi' is slated for a Diwali 2020 release. 

Apart from this Varun Dhawan also has Shoojit Sircar's film October, YRF's 'Sui Dhaaga' with Anushka Sharma up for release as well.

Ahead of 'Baaghi 2' trailer, makers announce Tiger Shroff-starrer 'Baaghi 3'



Tiger Shroff is all set to unite with rumoured girlfriend Disha Patani in the sequel of his 2016 film Baaghi. With everyone eagerly waiting for the trailer of Baaghi 2, which releases two days later on February 21, the makers of the Baaghi franchise have announced the third installment of the film.

While the third installment of the film will also star Tiger and helmed by choreographer-turned-filmmaker Ahmed Khan, the name of the leading lady has not been revealed. 

The filmmakers took to Twitter on Monday to share a picture with the caption, "Drumrolls. Our excitement level has just tripled! We are thrilled to share the 3rd instalment of #SajidNadiadwala's Baaghi franchise starring @iTIGERSHROFF directed by @khan_ahmedasas #Baaghi3 @WardaNadiadwala"



Talking about Baaghi 3's announcement, Sajid Nadiadwala stated to The Times of India, "Baaghi 2 has been a fruitful journey and a beautiful experience for all of us. Tiger is a talented and dedicated actor. Ditto Ahmed Khan, who has helmed the film. Together, we have a great story to tell in Baaghi 3. I am happy to announce this film even before the trailer of Baaghi 2 is out."

Meanwhile, Baaghi 2 is slated to release on March 30. Tiger also has Karan Johar’s Student Of The Year 2 and the Indian remake of Sylvester Stallone’s Rambo in the pipeline.

Guess what Anil-Sonam's first film together is called?

Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga releases on October 12.



Anil Kapoor and his daughter Sonam Kapoor finally come together in a film.

And it's named after one of Anil's evergreen songs, Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga.

The original song - from 1942: A Love Story - will feature in the new movie.

Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga is directed by Shelly Chopra Dhar whose brother Vidhu Vinod Chopra is the producer.

Vidhu, of course, directed 1942: A Love Story in 1994, which starred Anil, Jackie Shroff and Manisha Koirala who played the ladki who Anil tumbles in love with.

1942: A Love Story had fantastic music composed by R D Burman, who sadly passed away before the film released.

Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga has begun shooting in Patiala with the Kapoors, Rajkummar Rao, and Juhi Chawla.

'Yes, we are recreating the original and we want to replicate its iconic status. It's hard to beat the original so I will be happy if we are at par with it,' says Shelly.

'However, we'll have to wait and see who sings the new version and for whom in the film.

Ali Abbas Zafar reveals that work on Salman Khan's 'Bharat' is going on in full swing



After two successful outings in Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai, Salman Khan and filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar are all set to collaborate for the third time for another film, titled 'Bharat'. 

The film is an official adaptation of 2014 South Korean film, 'Ode to My Father' which depicted modern Korean history from the 1950s to the present day through the life of an ordinary man. The film was identified as potential content for the Indian masses.

Filmmaker Atul Agnihotri and T-Series will be backing the film as producers. Bharat will be helmed by director Ali Abbas Zafar and will feature Salman Khan as the protagonist.

Zafar revealed in his recent tweet that the work on Bharat is going on in full swing and soon the team will begin the scout for the locations.

Ali took to his Twitter handle and tweeted, "Yes. Work on Bharat is in full swing, the final stage of writing, location scout to begin soon. Nervousness and excitement begin again :) @VishalDadlani @ShekharRavjiani @Irshad_Kamil will start the music this month :) 3rd collaboration together."

Ali and Salman's previous films Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai were blockbusters. The film marks Producer Atul Agnihotri joining hands with Salman Khan post the Blockbuster 2011 Eid release Bodyguard. 

Continuing the tradition of releasing his films on the festive occasion of Eid, Salman has blocked the auspicious date for his 2019 release titled Bharat. The film will go on floor in April 2018.
