Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has received the first major jolt from the BJP led NDA government ever since he revolted against the centre on various state related issues. KCR also announced tstate-relatedof Third Front - a strong alternative to BJP and Congress at national level, recently.
The Defence ministry has denied KCR the permission to hold a mammoth public meeting with the beneficiaries of sheep distribution program at Parade grounds. The Defence ministry is the custodian of the grounds.
Telangana Animal Husbandry minister T Srinivas Yadav pursued the issue of getting the permission from the Union government to hold a public meeting for the last one month and it proved a futile exercise. Even the CMO officials have made efforts but they in vain.
KCR had planned to hold the public meeting with at least 2 lakh people from the Yadav community this weekend. As there was no response to his plea, the TRS government has postponed the meeting indefinitely.
