Gunshots Near Indian Parliament

The firing incident at the Constitution Club near Parliament on Monday created a sensation. A unidentified man opened fire Marketing Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) Student Leader Umar Khalid on Monday. Luckily, The Youth escaped unhurt.

Umar Khalid told, 'While I was returning after having tea, A Person came from behind and pushed me down. Immediately, He opened fire at Me. I kept running realizing his intentions. I'm not sure who is behind the attack. This happened when I had come to participate in an event against mob lynching. If you speak against the government, You will be branded as anti-national and then anything can happen to you'.

An Eyewitness told, The Attacker fired bullets in the sky when people tried to nab him. He accidentally dropped the pistol in a hurry to flee the spot. 

In June last year, Umar Khalid complained to police about threat to his life. And Today, the He was attacked at the high security zone near Parliament.
