Kangana Ranaut donates Rs 10 lakhs for people affected in Kerala floods



Kangana Ranaut donated Rs 10 lakhs to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund for the rehabilitation of the flood ravaged state of Kerala.

Actor Kangana Ranaut is following in flood-ravaged Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and many others from Bollywood. She has also made a big donation to a relief fund for people affected in the Kerala floods.

According to a report in Times of India, the actor donated the money to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund and has also urged her followers to help the flood-ravaged state in any way they can. The other celebrities who donated for this cause include Sushant Singh Rajput, Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Anushka Sharma and her cricketer husband Virat Kohli. Randeep Hooda went a step further and visited the state and helped people by providing them with food.

Now the people of Kerala and their chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan are focusing their energy on rehabilitating the people. People from across the world have been donating for this cause, and it includes the film fraternity of South India and the Bill Gates Foundation.

On the movie front, Kangana Ranaut is currently busy wrapping up her period film, Manikarnika, which is a biopic of Jhansi Rani. The actor is also working on Mental Hai Kya alongside her Queen co-star Rajkummar Rao. She has signed to play a kabadi player in Panga, which will be directed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari and is also reuniting with director Anurag Basu for a film.
