Breaking News: The End Of Vijay Mallyas UK Trip

The UK's West minster Magistrates Court Today ordered the extradition of fugitive businessman Vijay Mallya to India over loan default to the tune of Rs 9,000 crore. Chief Magistrate Judge Emma Arbuthnot found the charges of fraud, conspiracy and money laundering leveled against Mallya are justified. And now, Mallya's extradition case has been referred to the UK's secretary of state.

Post the UK Court's order, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley termed it as a great day for India. 'No one who cheats India will go scot-free. The judgment of UK's Court is welcomed. An offender benefited during the UPA. The NDA brings him to book,' he claimed.

CBI hopes to bring Vijay Mallya back to India as early as possible after the favorable verdict in the UK Court. The 62-Year-Old Liquor Baron has been on bail since his arrest on an extradition warrant in April 2017. Trail lasted for around one year and finally, CBI had the last laugh.
